Fought hard on the 2nd game of a B2B road trip, took them to OT, and fought until the end. Can’t complain, as painful as these losses are.
On the other hand, these being painful means this team is worth caring about, at least.

This game was Donovan Mitchell versus a dude who did a poverty impression of Donovan Mitchell. Not winning games without an elite scoring guard in the NBA like Mitchell, Booker, Fox, Shai etc

This game got on my nerves. Extremely frustrating loss. We are still elite at home so looking forward to that.
Who is the Cavs’ reporter? She looks familiar. Was she a Rockets reporter before?
Hard fought game but idk what that was at the end, why did the foul get called on us?
We should’ve won this one. We literally had the possession twice to win the game and couldn’t finish.
Another loss that hopefully teaches them something.
On a side note, I understand Cam is a project being developed in the G League, but it wouldn’t hurt to give him some real minutes to see how he performs. We need a scorer, why can’t we give him a try? If he fails, send him back for improvement, we have time to work on him.
It’s starting to look irresponsible to miss this opportunity.
While ime trying to brighten jalen, i think we will lose tari, bari, tate, cam and maybe amen. I hope jaleen develops his game and shows we r all wrong btw.
You can’t win at the road games against playoff teams if ur best scorer guard’s IQ as low ASF like Jalen. Sad but true

We literally just dump it down to him like he is shaq and expect him to score with 0 movement, 0 cutting, and very bad catch and shoot apart from Fred.
People are unironically aaying shit like “man alpy and jalen have been off recently” putting them together like that as if like more than 50% of Jalen’s games has not been total disaster classes like today. Get a grip.
I think Jalen made a big mistake choosing the G League over college. He needed to be coached way before now. Plus him having never played in a system in his life is really hurting him.

Somehow we hit on mid first rounders back to back years but missed on top 3 picks those same years.

These are the kind of games that are must wins if Rockets want to make the playins/playoffs. You have to take advantage of shorthanded teams. We had our chances to put this game away and missed them.
Bright spots were Uncle Jeff, Tari and Dillon the villain. Also very happy to see the team not giving up and folding when they were down.
Tonight’s Not Him awards go to Bari and Jalen. Sengun was a mixed bag – terrible first half followed up by a decent 2nd, only for him to miss two chances at victory.
The more and more time goes on I just can’t see Jalen being the guy we need. There’s no reason to trade him this season, may as well give him the year and see what happens, but there just doesn’t seem to be any growth in his game, let alone any consistency in his scoring.
Disappointing one, but onto the next!
