As of Dec 18th 2023, Celtics are 14 -4 vs teams with a winning record. 4 more wins than any other team. Celtics have only played 25 games. Hardest schedule. Hardest team.

  1. Notably:

    – Sixers 6-7 vs teams above .500, and 12-0 vs teams below. Absolute joke of a schedule so far. They do look quite good without Harden, though. But you can book a second round exit for them yet again.

    – Twolves are legit af. Ant is a stud and they’re making that double big lineup work. Still, we’ll see how they fare come playoff time.

    – Bucks are still working things out, especially defensively. But they’re gonna be very tough to beat in the playoffs once they’ve figured out their chemistry, roles and system.

    – Lakers are overrated and carried by an aging Bron and a wishy washy AD who either plays like Hakeem or Kwame Brown. Play-in champs and first round exit incoming.

Celtics also have three separate 5 games in 7 days stretches in Dec and Jan. Current 5 in 7 stretch ends Wed night @ Kings. Next two are early Jan and late Jan/first day of Feb. Bring it on, NBA schedulers.

For all the talk about Milwaukees slow start they are winning and beating winning teams. They still have some of the same mismatch problems w the Jays that they’ve always had, and perimeter defense has taken a step back. But Dame is a big upgrade as well

We’re an .800 team right now, which is awesome, but I’m wary of peaking before it counts six months from now.
