    If we could get this version of JB for the whole season we’d be set. This is who he SHOULD be. A DANGEROUS mid range game, driving the second he touches the ball and not being inconsistent, and using the 3 ball as a weapon instead of his most frequent shot. He does still need to figure out how to stop tripping over his own feet and dribbling off his knees.

    Extending what you said about KP at the end, John, can we all appreciate that not only are the Celtics elite players , they all seem really nice and decent. No trash talkers, no fist throwers, no Drays, no Morants, no Brooks.

    I think Jaylen Brown's biggest growth this season has been his decision-making.

    If my number is not wrong.
    Last season his number of 4+ turnover was 23/67 (34.3%) and 5 + turnovers were 13/67 (19.4%)
    This season, the 4+ turnovers are 2/24 (8.3%), which is lower than last year's percentage of 5+ turnovers, and with 0 games committing 5+ turnovers

    His turnovers are down while his assists are on the rise.

    If Jaylen can continue to make great decisions, this may be the biggest factor in making the team become closer to the chips rather than getting Jrue or KP.

    Jaylens improvement is great but also shouldn’t surprise. Year in and year out he has grown significantly and turnovers/playmaking were the biggest areas of improvement he needed to make. I’ve enjoyed watching him grow in front of our eyes over the years and I’m genuinely happy for for him

    winning the GSW game is critical. the celtics need to believe that they can beat GSW. it will also be a good test for PP and the other bench guys to do well on the road.

    KP and Jrue were excellent moves by Brad not just for their performance but for being culture setters. KP has made celtics basketball "fun" again. and bonus, the guy backs up his talk of really wanting to be here. turns down a max extension from the celtics to sign for significantly less. He's a celtic imo. if it was up to me, KP retires a celtic. same with d.white.

    Gabe Vincent was on JJ Redick's podcast this past summer and he said they knew that if they kept the Cs out of transition and force them to play in the half court, they'd win the game, and he was right, we played right into their hands. Glad to see Joe finally making the adjustment, it took long enough.

    brown doesn't really need to score more because they have a lot of scorers but needs to average 5 assists or more a game
