Pre all star basketball man, vibes better be good rn

  2. I dunno man, Sixers Vibes are good right now but watching the last four years of people raging to trade Joel and blow it up every time the other team went on an 8 point run has been exhausting.

  3. philadelimeats

I like this team so much more without harden. I felt like I was lying to myself about liking last years squad. Love our 2nd unit this year. Joel playing even better. Maxey balling. Don’t have to see Doc. Nurse is such an upgrade.

  4. TheTrocadero

It helps that the Sixers are dominating the way the Birds were last year.

This is the most unexpected thing for me because this sub has been soft and deranged for a long time. Like you guys were here for the off-season I know it.

  6. Eagles didn’t lose 2 games. They got blown out by the 2 most important rivals and didn’t even look like a playoff team. They also got out played the 2 weeks prior, but won in the end. So we haven’t actually looked like the better team in a month.

The 6ers look dominant, and are primed for another awesome year. Just wait until they get slapped in the 2nd round again, and things will return to normal.

  7. Wait until we lose a tight game in the 4th Q, people will lose their minds.

50 wins is a great season, and it’s still 32 lost games. NBA is just incomparable to NFL in that sense.

  8. iam_soyboy

I’m failing to see the comparison. 2 games is 10% of an NFL season. Limping to the finish is not how you want to enter the playoffs in that league. Getting blown out by the two biggest obstacles to getting to the Super Bowl and going from the number 1 seed to potentially the number 5 seed is kind of a big deal.

PS, people in this sub were down on this team as little as 2 weeks ago, after consecutive losses vs Pelicans and Celtics, and were losing their minds during the game after – Embiid’s 50 point game vs the Wizards, when we were losing at halftime and the game was tight till all the way till the end.

  9. Gabagoo44

Guess you weren’t here last playoffs when we lost and everyone wanted to trade Joel, this post is nonsense because if we were on a few game skid it would be doom and gloom just like after game 6 vs Boston.

  10. Acrobatic_Advance_71

I mean if kelly obure got hit a week before the playoffs we would probably be pretty similar. also where were you when Obure got hit we were pretty distraught.

  11. TheGreenLandEffect

This sub freaks out in the game thread after we have a bad quarter.

And before the season started everyone was ready to hang themselves.

As soon as things go slightly bad, this sub has a meltdown lmao

  12. Different-Ad9986

Meanwhile, flyers fans: “are we really playing hockey like a decent NHL team right now? 😳”

  13. ThereAreDozensOfUs

For the equivalent to be the same, the Sixers would have to lose 8 straight games

This sub would lose its mind if the Sixers dropped games against the Celtics, Bucks by double digits in 4 straight games

    It’s not the same

  14. The benefit of playing almost 5 times as many games is that each game matters less.

  15. jondonbovi

I mean the Eagles have championship aspirations and they lost 2 games in a 17 game season.

Kelly Oubre was only lost for a few games early in an 82 game season.

  16. justwantkickz

    When we win:

Sixers: Nick Nurse is so refreshing. Fuck Doc. I love Joel

Eagles: All the coaches need to get bent and fired

    When we lose;

Sixers: Nick Nurse is so refreshing. We are just missing that one piece. I love Joel. Fuck Doc

Eagles: All coaches need to get bent and fired. Jalen can’t throw the ball.

  17. Knee-Resident

Yeah wait til yall lose a game in round 2 of the playoffs then we’ll talk vibes lmao

  18. Tob0gganMD

The Eagles have never almost killed a draft pick with a sesame seed and it shows.

  19. justinheyhi

What are you talking about? The second this team’s winning streak ends the sky will be falling in this sub.

Hell, the sky falls in the game threads when the Sixers are down at the half.

  20. jeppsforst

I have rooted for an athlete who almost died due to a sesame seed and another who forgot how to shoot and another who refused to shoot. And my GM was using burners to trash his superstar. Nothing can phase me

  21. svenEsven

to be fair, if the sixers only played 17 games a year we would be freaking out about it too

  22. A_Stickman_Jr

If anything, this place meltdowns far worse. Can’t forget the offseason of Fuck Embiid, start the process over with Maxey and suck Butlers cock.

  23. JiveTurkey2727

Getting blown out by both of your biggest rivals will do that to a person…

  24. YanniCanFly

There’s a million games to be played in basketball. The stakes fell higher in football because every win matters more. In basket ball I can be in 8th place and still make the playoffs

  25. Go ahead and check out any game thread after the game 5 loss to the Celtics last year

  26. loneliness_sucks_D

    16 games vs 82

Losses mean less in the NBA than the NFL

  27. AstroZombieInvader

Is it though? We’re blowing the doors off teams and some people still obsess over Tobi’s +/-

  28. Losing 2 NFL games in a row is equivalent to losing 10 NBA games in a row…
