Scottie has been phenomenal this year. Was at the game tn and they took away a few of his defensive stats from bad calls. He is the future and it’s time to focus on him and build for the future.
Raptors slow starts are an issue.
The pairing of Scottie and Pascal isn't the whole issue and they can work well together without an issue, but we can't have Jakob on the floor with them. These 3 together allow the defense to clog the centre of the floor. I hate to get down on Jak, but look at the plus/minus for the team. There's only 1 Raptor in the minus. I don't think Jak is a bad player. He's a great player, but he needs to be on a line surrounded by outside threats. I think Jakob could still work well when either Pascal or Scottie is on the floor, but ideally not all three of them on the floor at the same time.
GTJ was never comfortable coming off the bench even last year. Putting GTJ in the starting line is must! Atleast it should be tried.
The problem is, we can't afford to pay Siakam a max deal regardless.
Im all for gary starting. But the next contract has to reflect that the team needs to spoon feed him.
He's a diva player, the conditions have to be perfect to flourish.
No doubt he has the mind just not the dog.
Trade Siakiam and Otto for Hero and Jovic with Miami and get draft picks too. Miami get win now veterans who got championship experience. Start Hero as PG with GTJ, OG, Barnes and Poetle. Let Dennis run the bench. In the mean time our starting lineup should Barnes, GTJ, OG, Siakiam and Poetle
Another PG we should look is Coby white of Chicago. Good 3pt shooter thrives in pick & Roll. Darko gotta realize he’s creating the same thing with Dennis that Nurse had with Vanvleet and it’s not gonna be tolerated.

Let's not think the raptors did a bunch of things right because they got the w. Most of his put up below average stats. We played a sub 500 team who doesn't have a star, we were losing for 3/4 of it.
Scottie’s decision making is next level
I don’t know how much I can take from this performance from Trent based on who was on the floor for that team. The Hornets had a borderline G League team out there. It’s not like he was being guarded by quality players.
GTJ is a sulky head case – on and off players isn't what a successful NBA team needs.
I feel sorry for Scottie when I look at him, he looks defeated by this shitty team – he has brought what the Raps wanted at draft to take him 4th over Suggs, but the Raps haven't brought their end.
The team has talent, but there is a difference between "talent", and knowing how to make that talent effective, winning. Melo was talented, he never won. Look at those LOSER Leafs, Matthews is a talent goal scorer…never won a thing!
This team has the time to save the season with a couple of key trades.

All I have to beat the raptors is make everyone shoot 3s and tough mid range shoot and slow it down so raptors don’t get transitions points where raptors are elite.
Defensively the team is so solid but not enough shooting from your starting 1 and 5 makes this team avg.
Jak is not an elite rim protector. His defense has been declining for a while.
