Can the Rockets win a championship with Sengun & Green?
Outta all the unhealthy teams rockets have beaten (10W) this is one they should have
Jalen looks terrible.
We win this if they called the goaltend on Tari's layup that hit the glass.
We need to see Amen. I think he could give Jalen some competition for his spot in the rotation because at the moment Ime's only other option is Aaron Holiday who has played well but he shouldn't be getting more than 20-25 minutes. Also I just want Amen to start developing because from what we saw in the few games he has played, he needs reps and needs to get comfortable.
The silver lining like Ben said at least our offense has improved a lot despite our defense took a dip Ime going to get those guys to play defend again.
But we gave up too many threes yeah I get they shot near 30 footers but you still have to try to account for them
I didn’t mind the Sengun shot I love that Ime went to him but yeah they maybe should have gotten Fred involved in the play since he made some big shots.
Jabari was bad in this game but I’ll give him a bit of a pass since he been mostly consistent.
But Jalen I’m slowly loosing my faith he talented we all know that but if he can’t make any shots.Then he a black hole on the court.
We really need another shooter and a backup big. If that shooter takes up Jalen minutes then so be it.
All in all frustrating loss man but hopefully we get back on track tomorrow since I’ll be at the game 😅

Jalen and Jabari efficiency being so low cost this game. The reason is obvious, is it not? They could still win though, had Fred not taken 3 unsuccessful 3-pointers in overtime instead of passing the ball to Alpi who was available near the rim in a good position.
Eason is as good as or better than smith at basically everything. The better needs more minutes. Eason has the versatility to play with about any combination of players.
Every time you guys would questioned why ime would benched Jalen green in fourth qtr. Now he played green in fourth qtr against the cavs and he was trash

Jalen is not to be trusted . He has a lot to learn as far as decision making and planning inside the game are concerned. The first two years have not taught him anything, it seems. He thinks that basketball game is just jumping and dunking and driving toward the rim without ever thinking about the defensive wall in front of him. I should tell him never to take shots unless he has completely open look or something is prepared for him.
Jalen is a follower. Not a leader. He’s not aggressive and looks overwhelmed on the court at times… I just don’t know about him anymore
Ben Buttons thinks Alpi was gassed in the fourth and couldn't defend the rim but he was playing not to foul out. Either a miss remembering of the situation or Ben still can't admit he was wrong about Sengun from the jump.
I think Cam Whitmore big shot ability is going to come in handy soon ik they said we aren't trying to develop talent again but he showing he capable to take and make shots with defense high athleticism

Pretty weird game in all honesty getting cooked by mitchell and nobody on the Cavs could miss for almost the time second half. But the last few minutes were very agonizing. Fred should’ve had an 8 sec call at the end and didn’t show any urgency and then proceeds to take a bad shot. Then DB has no awareness of the shot clock at the end. And as the marquee veteran signings they need to be much better in those moments. I like alp having the ball in his hands with the game on the line but if you’re gonna take a mid range jumper Jabari should’ve been out there for that shot and him not playing at all is really confusing. I don’t mind players earning minutes, opportunities, or doing what it takes to win. But I don’t think the way they’ve been handling all the young guys has been great. Still a whole season left but I do feel like we’re not doing the best to develop our guys when the games are being played.
I don't know why this is the case, but when it is said that Houston failed at something, it seems like Alpi is responsible. I think Houston and Alpi are the same for me.
I consider this to be jalen real 2nd season. He's trying to find his role in an actual offense now. I think he would be better if he stopped being so passive and decided he was going to get up 20 shots per game the the minimum. His ability to score is the whole reason he's out there. Once he makes up his mind to go out and score he'll be fine.

If Houston wants to make the playoffs and advance in the playoffs, they need to give Cam Whitmore and Amen Thompson a role and playing time, while also needing a solid backup center to increase their rim protection

Man, I don't watch this show, it's best for me, Frank. I don't care about any channel that has at least some basketball knowledge and is only interested in 1-2 positions, 3-4 statistics and FG percentage.
