I wanted to talk about Keegan Murray and Brandon Miller, both of whom were drafted (in 2022 and 2023) before explosive point guards that were mocked ahead of them. It made me think about how they were viewed going into their respective drafts. They were lotto picks for sure, but both picks (more so Brandon Miller) were scrutinized because their respective teams didn’t take the explosive guard with more “upside”. I think Murray and Miller have taught us a lesson in their archetype as two-way wings, who have more offensive upside than maybe we gave them credit for pre-draft.

Great video, it's nice to see more attention brought to Sac, especially our boy Keegs, he's the future with Foxy. It's not just about guard vs wing, it's also the difference in "drafting the best player no matter what, cause can trade him" and drafting for FIT. Hornets have Lamelo, Kings have Foxy and A LOT of 2 guards as well. Hell we just sent Haliburton away, arguably a generational level guy, for Sabonis because FIT… we had a backcourt log jam, and needed a great center… win-win. Why would we just bring on another guard again after that, when we need size and wings, Keegan was so disrespected that draft class and kinda still is to some degree, when his rookie year he broke the 3 point record and this year already he's become an incredible defensive player and two way beast and in one game broke 3 Kings franchise records, some by some of greater players in it's history AND some NBA records as well while coming close to breaking the 3s in a game one, his name is up there with Steph and Klay. Like Keegan is amazing on offense and now defense and it's only his 2nd year in the league.
Scoot Henderson garbage can’t shoot and a horrible playmaker missing wide open jumper. He over hyped he doesn’t make a difference sitting on the bench and when he in the game you don’t even notice he even in the game.

I thought I was the only one high on Brandon miller cuz I said his game would translate better then scoots and I guess I was right cuz scoot is undersized pg wit no jumper and was turnover prone not a hornets fan either but calling someone a bust before playing a game is a crazy
