Of course a superstar level player would be great, but I don’t think that’s the issue here. We have too many not great shooters on the roster.
Poeltl, Schroder, Pascal, Precious, Boucher, Flynn and McDaniels are all below average for their position.
We have Gary, OG, Scottie and Otto that could be considered at least average shooters at their position and that’s it. Hopefully Dick joins that group but right now he’s not able to provide that. Otto is far from a reliable player to have available. So we’re left with 3 guys to rely on shooting the ball and one of those just started to shoot the ball well this year.
If Flynn and Precious were actually performing as shooters (say 38% and 35%) and Pascal was having a good shooting season (say he was at 35%). Then we’d have an okay shooting team. Those things aren’t happening, so we’re a terrible shooting team.
We need to add 2-3 shooters into our top 10

They need a superstar, and about 4 or 5 good bench players, 2 or 3 of whom would be considered borderline starters. Just to be relevant.
We have Sct Brn. We just need SHOOTERS to space the floor. Right now teams just load up the paint because they know we can’t shoot which makes it extra hard for guys like Scottie and Pascal. I think it’s also a big contributing factor to Pascal’s numbers being down this season.
