Vassel seems to be Spurs best player at the moment but, while I don’t fully understand why, he is the one that click the least with the rest of the roster to me.
When I watch games he (less than 10 this season) he looks flashy at some moments but seem to be invisible when he is not. Also, is synergy with Wembanyama looks “bad”.
I got this awkward feeling that he don’t showcase the same mentality as the rest of the team, he is a good player with potential to be great but in the meantime he is the one I feel is the most disposable from the starting 5.
Sochan and Johnson both score less than the previous season but that assist and rebound more, they shifted to do more chores and team order oriented plays, Vassel seem to beore of a “me” type of guy, at least it is what I realized since a few games.
