Brooklyn and golden state got the last laugh on KD. He ditched a good situation in GS where it could have been a dynasty or Brooklyn where he had the chance to do something special and now on the suns seems cloudy.

I remember when I stayed in Phoenix in 2015 and saw a team with the Morris twins, PJ Tucker and Eric Bledsoe get smoked by a Warriors team that would go on to win 72 games. You sound like a Suns fan that remembers Dragan Bender and the year they attempted to start Isaiah Thomas with two other point guards. Luckily, I'm a Celtics fan but I'm familiar with your pain.

The problem is J Jones doing nothing ever in the draft or at the trade dadline. At minimum, we could still waive or trade a few bench players and sign Kai Jones as our shotblocking athletic 4/5. then go sign RJ Nembhard for our guard needs, and flip Little, Eubanks, Watanabe and Bol to Chicago for Caruso or to Philly for Melton, Oubre and Pat Bev!

Agreed, the Beal trade is sill really good. Look at that first preseason game, I believe against the Pistons, where the big 3 scored 45 points in 1 quarter. It was team basketball. That's what this team can be.

Totally fair callout you've been my go to for suns content that actually had depth beyond what you get from the 10 min game highlight analysis or national media surface level obvious stuff for a long time I want to say I'm almost certain pre 1k subs I actually didn't realize you've grown so much actually really building a brand here brother! Its always been super obvious to me you're really watching in depth and I always appreciate getting to hear from someone that's really as into it as me keep it up
I dont know how the fuck we will trade Beal. 1st his contract is too huge for a guy with his injury history and idk how many teams will be willing to take that risk and trade for him. 2nd he has a NTC which fucks everything up. we really need a vet PG on a minimum, we can't afford anything more than that if we can't trade Beal.
The team is lacking a few important pieces (true PG, Big PF to rebound, Efficient shooter and SF who can defend and shoot better than Okogie)… that said the team should be doing much better if the coaching and mindset improves. Players need to show more hustle, defend with intent, better box out on rebounds, body language when down, practice making right moves through video and act like leaders on the floor. When shots are not falling they should not just move to iso ball with KD / Book and instead try moving the ball and driving for layups + fouls. I'm most disappointed in Vogel, just doesn't improve players and gets outcoached like Monty.
