In 12 possessions this year, Herro is 93rd percentile in ISO possessions, higher than Jimmy, Bam, Tatum, Trae Young, Giannis, etc. also drawing fouls. Last year he was only 11th percentile

very small sample size but he’s been great nonetheless, let’s hope he can keep this up because it would do wonders for the offense.

I only watch the Heat because of Herro’s development; I wouldn’t care for the regular season otherwise. To a lesser degree, I’m also interested in the development of Bam, Jovic, and Jaime, but Herro’s the main draw for me. I think a big part of it is that everyone always talks crap about him and hates him for reasons unbeknownst to me. The whole Dame Lillard offseason, with everyone acting like Herro was no longer part of the team, really irked me and I had to take a break from r/heat until it was over.

I don’t understand – in 12 possessions, Herro is 93rd percentile in ISO possessions?

Can someone please explain what this implies?

  4. Drawing fouls is the next big leap, if he can someone get his defenders in a worse position and force them to give him more space while getting those free points… it’s going to be a big jump.

There improvement is obvious but the sample size is small due to his injury. If he’s to say be in the 85-93 range by the middle season, then we’ll know how sustainable it is

The first bucket of the game he hit a floater of jalen Suggs who’s a rly good defender. Ge went right into his chest to create space and was completely on balance. The weight he gained has been huge for isos
