I would like to see Nembhard, Nesmith and a couple firsts. They are both low rotation for the Pacers, but fit major needs for us.
Huge fan, and i think Masai is the best, but there is no way OG gets that package. The pacers fo would be fired the next day if that trade went through.

Uh yeah take that deal, I love OG but 2 1sts, even if they’re mid-late 20s or even 30, that’s still some pretty good draft compensation for an expiring guy who isn’t quite at the level of a superstar.
Plus we get some pretty solid players who better fit the Scottie timeline that can actually shoot

I would take less of a package that included Mathurin. Not convinced by Nembhard at all, and we have enough forwards / quasi bigs who can’t shoot.
Smith is nice and I would be fine with Nwora.

Keeping in mind that this rumour has no basis, I’d do either of those deals pretty quickly. If we’re starting a rebuild, we need quantity of assets, as well as quality. Particularly if it’s Nembhard, it makes our existing roster a lot deeper and more balanced. I do think Walker has a much higher ceiling, but I could see the FO preferring Nembhard just to see if they could fix the rotation around Scottie and Siakam before moving on from him. I’d they’ve already made up their minds to move Siakam, then I’d prefer Walker.

OG is what he is going to be. He’d be a solid 6th man on a very good team….maybe. He has no dog in him. He quits at times and he is an unnatural shooter who isn’t progressing. He is 3 and D without the 3.
If Jarace Walker is on the table and any additional value is added you take that and never question it. I would do Jarace Walker, Jalen Smith & two firsts (at least one has to be completely unprotected or both lightly protected).
Raptors need Jarace Walker. I’m very high on his skillset and I think he immediately becomes an impact player for us. He’s also friends with Gradey so I like that connection. Walker, Smith, Nwora and 2 firsts you accept that deal.
