Man, watching some of those ugly, unforced TOVs, it really does start to look like some of these guys are simply not NBA players.
I’m sorry I usually never say this about a player but Sochan is absolute fucking garbage. How he gets 20-30 minutes a game is beyond mind-blowing.

The straw that broke the camel’s back. It was growing pains at first, but not being able to find Wemby for an easy 10+ points a game is fucking stupid. Tired of Sochan doing his post up baby hook/fade that never works. At this point trade for an actual facilitator, but knowing the Spurs hell will freeze over before we do a midseason trade….

Embarrassing play but everyone. Can’t even fault Wembs. Sochan, Devin and Branham SHOULD be benched and sent to Austin for a game. Their spot should not be promised. They play with no court vision and miss Wemby on his easy spots. Keldon does too but he is who he is and at least excels at his skill sets.
Can we please trade for a fucking vet? Everyone not named Wemby and Keldon will have negative trade value if we really go like 10-72. Good lord if we get a vet we will still tank just 20-62 tank

Wemby was so happy when we got the number 1 pick he has to be so fucking jaded right now. The basketball we are playing is the antithesis of Spurs basketball and the absolute worst environment for him to be in. He has to be be so dissapointed.
Big changes need to happen no doubt. Fans are frustrated and that’s totally understandable. It’s hard watching your favorite team go through such a rough patch and it’s even harder to see other fans actively pissed off in the comments and forums as well as at games. It’s eras like this that will make every chip we receive in the future even sweeter (at least for those of us that were around during this crappy season.) Sucks we gotta go through it but stay strong peeps. GSG
I try not to be a doomer but I’m getting so fuckin fed up. I have never seen so many low IQ players on the same team. The amount of times these guys miss Victor is ridiculous, and there’s no excuse for it. Expecting a professional basketball player to pass it to a 7’4 player when he’s open is not an unreasonable expectation. At the beginning of the season I said “hey, we’re young, and they’re not used to playing with Wemby”. We are now 27 games in and they have made close to no improvement in getting him the ball. Keldon has tunnel vision. Jeremy just refuses to give it to him for whatever reason. Devin and Malaki sometimes look his way but don’t seem confident enough to make the pass so they’d rather pull up or pass it to someone else. None of our starters can pass it to him consistently, and that’s an issue.
I still don’t think that these guys have something against Victor, but they sure fuckin play like it. I’m sure Pop is coaching these guys how he sees fit, but he needs to seriously lay into them, cause this is unacceptable. If Victor were to explode one game and just yell at his teammates I wouldn’t even blame him.
We still have 55 games to go, so there’s a possibility for change, but idk man

It’s time to look for a salary dump vet from another team.
One of the most frustrated I’ve been watching this team. I don’t get why the players make some of the decisions they do with these turnovers. On top of that, one of the worst games as far as missing Wemby and not getting him involved. He’s already meeting the team halfway by passing to them well, he’s also toned down from just jacking up shots from 3 AND he is covering for them on D. They HAVE to be better at rewarding him.
Best passer was Wemby, but almost nobody pass to him except if they are in deep shit.
This team has a serious problem with their franchise player, either they ice him, or they are incompetent.
The worst thing is that Wemby is gonna get fucking slandered for this game even though it’s not even remotely his fault.
We have to stop expecting more from some of these players. The answer is simply most of them need to be replaced or have a greatly reduced role. Jeremy is still worth developing and obviously Devin is worth keeping but a lot of these players just aren’t that good. Zach Collins will not get better on defense. Tre jones, while being our best option at point guard, isn’t actually that good relative to other point guards in the league. We have no good perimeter defenders. Drafting more talent is important, but bringing in veterans as well to give direction and stability to this team is the way to go. There’s so much wrong with this team that you can’t pinpoint this fuckery on one position or player. This doesn’t even feel like tanking this feels like chaos and bad basketball and a lack of talent and IQ. I don’t think Pop is trying to actively lose these games I think this team overall is just that bad as hard as it is to say.
Well, at least Reed Sheppard balled out tonight. I think he would be a great antidote to the low iq, low shooting, low skill, low effort, low defensive awareness, team currently surrounding Wemby.
Once it’s announced that a nice new state of the art arena is going to be built in Austin, everything happening this season will all make sense.
You here probably don’t care about that, but watching this team just hurts, I’mma stop watching live now.
I miss Victor here in Paris, I miss going to the arena watching him having fun, winning games, having teammates playing for him. I miss that. I was so happy he went to SA, now I’m out here thinking he would’ve been better in Charlotte or wherever…
Fuck tanking or whatever that is, that’s something we’re not used to in France, we don’t have drafts here, so being ok with loosing game is weird. I hope it’s worth it.
It’s shame. I understand the long term vision and all, but sport is supposed to be entertaining, not 100% business. And now they’re failing at entertainment, while having the most unique player in the league, a real shame.
