As a Laker fan, no reason to overpay for Lavine. He's a borderline star. He's not a superstar. Would be willing to give up DLo and probably Rui and I couldn't care less about Gabe Vincent. Definitely wouldn't add any picks and any mention of Reaves is a no go. If we're giving up all that, we could do it for a player better than Lavine either at the deadline or in the offseason assuming Dlo opts in, which is pretty much guaranteed.

Levine just isn’t that valuable. His skill set is pretty much a more efficient version of a 6th man. He’s not versatile, brings little to defense, has a bum knee and is on a wild contract. He’s not worth a lot of assets.

What I won't let u do is slander Dlo. Everyone goes through their slumps, Lavine's number aren't too pretty themselves. Especially for the price he's being paid he's being paid like a star when he most certainly is not a star lmao. DLo is a 17-18ppg, 6.5-7astpg 40% 3pt shooter. And his playmaking is unbelievable. I personally don't even wanna give DLo up for Zach Lavine. He provides more than wat he gets credit for. We were one of if not the worst team last year and Dlo came in and turned out whole szn around. Clutch shot after clutch shot. Won us a couple playoff games and all. The month of December just hasn't been nice to him lmao
