They’re all across the league we have really good officials I have a problem with the way we’re we are um legislating defense out of the game that’s what we’re doing in the NBA the way we’re teaching the officials we’re just enabling players to BS their way to the
Foul line um if I were a fan I wouldn’t have wanted to watch the second half of that game it was disgusting it was just you know just baiting baiting refs into calls but the refs have to make those calls because that’s how they’re taught
So I have a real problem with the way we are um we’ve legislated defense out of the game in this league and uh the players are really smart in this league and for for over the last decade or so uh they’ve gotten smarter and smarter and they’re just um they’re just enable
We have enabled the players and they are taking full advantage and it’s a parade to the free throw line and it’s disgusting to watch thanks

Jokic gets all the calls. When is a poor guy like Embiid gonna get a call for once ?
Well, if you let defenders to actually stop opponents, we' ll have a bunch of low number guys at all star level (max) and no "superstars", whatsoever… This would lead to less jersey/sneaker selling % so not gonna happen, imo. Just bring Euro refs, and watch the calls…😂
Meanwhile warriors entire gameplan is setting illegal screens for years.
He told no lies! It started in 2001 with the defensive rule changes to globalize the NBA more. It was harder for less athletic European players to thrive in the league when there was less space in the half court. The game was predicated more on athleticism and size in order to score against big men who would dominate in the paint, and defenders who could lean on players more on the perimeter. I remember hearing American players speak to the media back in the 90's, and a lot of them insinuated European players were not physical enough and flopped all the time. I think in order to globalize the league, they had to change up the defensive rules to incorporate more European players into the NBA, and this is the effect of that.

99% of fouls on Giannis are brutal,if refs are giving fouls like they do to Jokic and Embiid , Giannis would average 30+ free throws per game.
Fine refs in the NBA? Do some stats on the % of bad calls laid next to the gambling spread 😮 I've been watching BB since Bob Cousy in shorty shorts on black and white TV. The refs are in on manipulating the spread. If you are old, you saw the game turn into the casino's cash cow. Coach Kerr, you have two golden boys that get those calls too. It just wasn't your nite according to the spread.
Jokic got the super star calls. Usually the Nuggets are on the other side of foul calls. The refs arent BECOMING too much. They ARE too much.
Steve kerr come on dude the Golden State warriors are a team the refs have always loved quit complaining. Before that the guy was a member of Jordan's Bulls he should just shut up about the refs.
Steve is 100% right. I like Joker but that little arm flail move he pulls to get fouls is absolutely shameful. Lebron is also guilty of baiting easy fouls and flops. Ever wonder why Lebron teams are always #1 in the league in FT attempts? And it's been this way since his Miami days.
The league has an AGENDA as far as who they wanna see at the top. Let's not act like we don't see it.
But nobody complains so loudly when Giannis and Embiid do this basically every other game? Giannis has over 40 games where he shot 18+ free throws, Embiid over 30. This is Jokic’s second such game. Give me a f*cking break.

Also a Denver fan and the second half I was feeling bad for golden state and like he said it wasn't a game I wanted to watch and on reply I was thinking that really shouldn't have been a foul call.
Jokic would be ejected if he complained as much as Steve and Steph did during the game
Curry and Jokic are averaging 5.9 and 6.3 attempts per game this season. Kerr's just whining. Jokic isn't the player you should be complaining about this. Do that after a 76ers or Hawks game.

He's right, the NBA is disgusting to watch. Every game is the same thing, the constant stoppages, players can't even breathe next to one another is a foul, players crying fouls the inconsistency of the officiating makes the game hard to watch.
