6 weeks till trade deadline. Think they will make a trade for a 3-D shutdown wing. Or keep picks and play it out..
If kyrie could just get back and stay healthy
I wish I knew what they were. But the lineup I really want to see hasn't had a chance to happen. I wanna see what Lively & Maxi can do to the likes of Gobert & KAT and those other big teams. I want to believe that Lively & Maxi can make up a real sweet defensive unit that will be nearly unguardable on offense.
Luka & Lively already make up the most dangerous pick & roll duo. But throw in Maxi being able to pick & pop.
But I also wish I knew what they are because of the injuries. Would love to see Kyrie in the mix of Luka's historic run. Another dude who can drop in an easy 27 could've come up handy in some of those L's.
But the injuries could be a blessing in disguise. It's let Exum prove himself worthy of maybe being that X-factor for Luka & Kyrie. It's allowed Dereck Jones Jr to step up & shine. Lawson looks like a key hustle guy. They've even gotten some good minutes for Prosper and he's shown nice flashes for a rookie. And hopefully Green has learned by DJJ & Lawson how he can fit in…hustle on D & stay active on offense and Green will earn his extension.
Props to Nico for building this roster like he has. The foresight to "tank" for Top 10. That leading to Lively, Prosper & Holmes. Sign & trade for Grant Williams. Getting Seth Curry. Picking up Exum and DDJ are absolute steals. Maybe the biggest moves in free agency was those 2 moves.
