  1. PG Scottie era has begun. the new rotations today were sooo much better.

  2. NoMoPolenta

Those last 4 minutes of the game was the pure, uncut Precious experience.

  3. TradingPokemonSWSH

Warmup for the game against the pistons

  4. cad_internet

Precious Achiuwa is a basketball terrorist.

    Apparently so are the Wizards.

So Darko didn’t just make the obvious rotation change, but big ones. McD, OPJ in the lineup and benching Precious and Flynn.

It’s against the Wizards, though, so can’t really glean too much from this. Regardless, it’s good to see some changes.

  5. Cheechers23

43 assists in a game where we didn’t start a PG lol

  6. Tuckebarry

I’d love to see this lineup:

    Barnes / Dennis
    Trent / Otto
    OG / McDaniels
    Siakam / Boucher
    Precious / Poeltl

Siakam was feasting when Poeltl was on bench probably cuz of better spacing, and I think Jak would be better off bench with Dennis.

I liked that Darko made the lineup change.

  7. haley_the_comet

Well this gives me hope against the Pistons

  8. IAmDaleicious

Masai and Bobby gonna be tricked by this 5 win Wizards team. “This is what we envisioned!”

  9. Love hearing Pascal’s postgame interview. Dude is not taking this as anything more than a win against a bad team. “We need to gain some momentum and take this one game at a time”

  10. NinfthWonder

Who would have thought more shooting in the starting 5 and an actual NBA-level PG coming off the bench would make this bad team look a little better?!

  11. DesperateAbility6448

Real test for this lineup on Friday

  12. jjkiller26

Like many people have been screaming all year, why did it take so long for the schroder to the bench move? Honestly should’ve started the season with this look

  13. Out of the Nick Nursery ↔️ Darkos dungeon for Malachi

  14. I know it’s the Wizards, but that was so much nicer to watch. Gary looked totally comfortable and we just flowed much better overall. Dennis still got plenty of run, too and I thought he played very well.

We need a proper backup big. I haven’t completely given up on Precious, but man do I ever miss Koloko. Here’s hoping he can come back at some point this season 🙏.

  15. After-Contribution27

2nd most assists in franchise history while breaking away from the coach’s offense, interesting

  16. motherseffinjones

I said this team would play better the other day and got downvoted. Teams where literally guarding off of Dennis replacing him with GTJ just makes more sense if we can do it

  17. AngryHelicopter

Gary Trent Jr into the starting lineup, Dennis Schroder to the bench, Malachi Flynn out of the rotation! It’s a December 27th miracle!!!!

  18. An expected result, whether GTJ started or not, though I’m happy to see the adjustment made

Some small things here and there that could be nitpicked about tonight, but it was a fun game to watch and that’s been a rarity as of late.

Don’t need this FO to gain any false hope that this thing is worth keeping together, because it isn’t.

Nonetheless great game across the board from pretty much everybody, and Scottie better be an All-Star 😤

  19. I liked seeing Flynn and Precious glued to the bench.

  20. FormerSlacker

So the kid who played PG in HS, PG in college and PG in the second half of the 2021? season when Fred went down can in fact play PG without a ‘real’ PG beside him…. how about that.

  21. chrisPjelly

Fun win. Not really something that should influence decisions considering it’s the Wizards, but I’m liking the rotation changes for the most part. Point Scottie did good, and Gary played well witht starters. Feels like Schroeder still played with the starters for a lot of minutes, and I want to see if he’s more capable of gluing the bench together instead of two of Siakam/Scottie/OG. Not sure about McDaniels playing over Precious, but at least Precious deserves to work his way through the doghouse and get his shit together. Earn those minutes, big guy.
