  1. Such a shame JV didn’t let Cam Thomas be the primary 1st option after he rested him 22 mins yesterday. Such a waste of an opportunity to show us what he can do.

  2. EddyTreeNJ

when the game was still close in the third quarter, and the Bucks took out their starters, the Nets should’ve put their starters back in the game.

  3. KingofthisShit

Wilson and Clowney were definitely the standouts of this game.

  4. spacejamisraw

Vaughn got his wish we got embarrassed and blown out. Great job coach!

  5. Really loved what I saw from Wilson and Clowney, makes me optimistic about our future. I really hope Marks can cook up a trade to get a true 1, while the young guys take over. It would change this team completely

  6. EddyTreeNJ

Nets talk about culture but teams that have culture don’t just give away games

  7. Somehow everytime the Long Island Nets show up in a nba game they hoop fr

  8. StephenPurdy69

What kind of coach tanks so openly on b2b nights ? That’s fucking pathetic

  9. brook_lyn_lopez

Felt winnable for a little bit. Fun watching DSJ, Sharpe, and some of the young guys.

  10. Its fun cause if you hadn’t watch Brooklyn this season you could think that we’re trying to tank

  11. Are we gonna talk about Giannis statpading against a G League Team ?

  12. Kwilly462

I don’t mind tonight being a throwaway game. I don’t mind the amount the rest our starters got. This B2B after coming from Detroit is BS anyway.

Guys who will almost never get NBA run got run tonight. I know they’re happy, and that’s good for team morale. Not to mention, we played 3 good quarters against one of the best teams in the league.

    It’s an “Eh, whatever” thing.

  13. EddyTreeNJ

JV not using his challenges is also a crime. There were a couple that if he challenged we would’ve won.

  14. Yea I’m happy we have 3ish guys up and coming but so does every nba team. It’s not something to stand pat on, we need to make a trade.

  15. EliManningham

None of Clowney, Wilson, or Whitehead looked “lost”. Wilson is probably ready for a role right now. Clowney looked damn good with his defensive positioning and instincts, and has a high motor on the boards. Whitehead was almost too unselfish to a fault, but looked pretty good on D and didn’t force anything.

    Very encouraging performances from them.

  16. gg from the deep bench. still need to find a way to defend lol and with how close they got it/kept it definitely questionable to not play CT / DSJ and try to actually win but… is what it is, mostly a great development game.
hope Dayron’s arm is good. ready for dinwiddie to get shipped at the very least so we can give other guys more burn.

also bucks are trash for those last few min.

  17. Funyarinpa-13

We still don’t have a PF star stopper. Ben could’ve been but his back…

  18. Groady_Wang

Team did their thing all things considered with the gamut of injuries. Bench was solid. Wilson Def has been making the most out of the available burn provided. Hope he continues to progress even more

  19. Long Island Nets are pretty solid.

DSJ and Sharpe looked great as well.

  20. foreverballin

It seems like the team decided they wanted to throw this game away so the team would be rested for the Wizards. Weird strategy, but I guess

  21. EddyTreeNJ

It’s not a good look to be throwing a game away like the Nets did. I think it sends a bad message to players as well.

  22. zestysnacks

Seeing sharpes impact on the game is shocking at times

  23. just_so_irrelevant

i dont mind that jv didnt put in the starters at the start of the 4th. it’s obvious today was used to see how the young guys played and they clearly played well enough to deserve closing out the game, even if that didnt go well. besides if you’re trying to see how the rookies play you want to give them as much time as possible on-court. scheduled loss is a scheduled loss, might as well get the most developmental minutes out of it as possible.

  24. TinyBoy30

Resting starters is the kind of practice that made the 2021 team cursed. We could have been the 1 seed that season. I guess people never learn

  25. TheMoorNextDoor

Feels like a throw away game, most starters either played low minutes or didn’t play at all… fair enough I guess.

  26. Ok-Platform-7719

We’re not a good enough team to be punting games. I think this organization made it clear that they want to make the playoffs this year, but we need every win we can get if we want that to happen. We are not the Celtics, Bucks, Sixers etc. We have no room to be purposely punting games, and punting while the game was still close was stupid. Not saying we would’ve won, but anything can happen in the NBA. And when a game is in reach and you actually have a chance to win you just can’t give up like that. Especially when we’re a team that’s gonna need every win we can get if we wanna make playoffs.

I’m happy the young guys got to play and I’m not mad at Bridges, Johnson, Clax, and DFS resting, but sitting Cam after the first quarter (where he was doing well) after not playing him in the 4th quarter last night is just puzzling. Especially when we’re trying to develop him? It’s just so confusing.

  27. faxtiger24

Didn’t watch the game, why did the starters all play so little? Also, regardless of who plays, the defense just has to be better.
