Tough but luckily we had a few days off from the video where I haven’t been using my voice too much but uh you know going to try to keep the analysis pretty short for today and probably the next few days videos as I start to recover but uh nonetheless if you like this

It here are the games for Thursday in college hoops first up we see cop and state and Maryland this one’s going to be 7:00 p.m. Eastern on the Big 10 Network I’m rolling with Maryland in this one I think they’re playing their best basketball of the season in copen state

We’ve seen them lose a lot of lopsided games on the road this year at Virginia Tech at uh Louisville Navy JMU in their most recent game that was an 87 to 48 final score just a lot of bad results on the road this could be the worst offense

In college basketball they’re 362 and adjusted offensive efficiency they turn the ball over far too much they’re not a good rebounding team and Maryland like I said they’re playing their best ball the season but even more so we’ve seen them lay a big number and cover the number

Against all corn State not too long ago back on December 12th they were a big favorite in that game and they won that game 105 to 65 so I don’t worry about Maryland taking their foot off the pedal they should be able to put together a full 40-minute effort in this game give

Me Maryland in a regional you know rivalry matchup give me Maryland laying the points next up we see Sam Houston in Texas Tech this one’s going to be on ESPN plus 8m Eastern I just think this is way too many points to be laying with the Texas Tech offense I still don’t

Completely trust against a Sam Houston defense that can you know make teams uncomfortable I mean this is a Sam Houston defense that may be less this year than in recent years when Jason hooton was that coach but still this season forces turnovers and like I said makes teams uncomfortable they’re 50th

In in turnover percentage defensively I don’t trust this Red Raiders offense and they have not been great in the home favorite especially when they’re laying a big number role this season we saw them failed to cover against sose State Texas A&M Corpus Christie they only beat

Oral Roberts by six at home and they beat UT Arlington by 11 at home uh Sam Houston you know while their offense is not great they’re not a great shooting team I think their defense should be able to force some fast break buck they

Do a good job get to the free throw line and I do think that their shooting numbers will improve as the season goes along they defend the three-point line really well too many points for me give me Sam Houston plus the points next up we see Montana and Weber

State this one’s going to be 9:00 p.m. Eastern on ESPN plus I think these are your top two teams in the Big Sky this year at least going into conference play could be AE a preview of The Big Sky Championship later on this season and uh you know Montana’s playing really good

Basketball lately five game win streak Weber State’s won three of its last four this is a game where you know I think either team has a chance to win it and that’s why if we’re getting four and a half points with the opening number uh like we are with Montana I think there’s

Value there I just think it’s a game that could be decided really late maybe even an overtime game and I think Montana has a solid chance you know kind of a coin flip chance to win this game outright so I might as well take those points because Montana’s played the

Tougher schedule this year in non-conference play both teams have played challenging schedules uh both teams really good at the free throw line which could really be important in in a matchup like this both teams are fundamentally sound but like I said if you if you know uh Montana’s had those

Games on the road against Houston and Nevada and Oregon earlier in the season I do think that those games really help you when you get into conference play and and they’re also playing their best basketball of the year with that five-game win streak beating the same

Team twice both by double digits in San Jose State never easy thing to do give me Montana here plus the points sprinkle on the money line as well next up we see UCL and Oregon State this one’s going to be 1 p.m. Eastern on the Pack 12 Network you got teams in

Different directions right now UCLA has lost four straight Oregon state has won five games in a row but we got to look at those winning and losing streaks as Oregon State yes they’ve won five in a row but they be UC Davis calp Utah Valley UTSA and Idaho State all five

Teams you know no no crazy wins in there the most impressive against Utah Valley probably and all five of those games were at home and that win against Utah Valley was by three points they need a double overtime to beat calp this is still an organ State team that I think

Is by far the weakest team in the Pack 12 Conference while UCL yes that that lost to Cal State uh Cal State North Ridge was a bad one they still lost to Villanova Ohio State and Maryland along the way in this losing streak which we know are not bad losses for a young

Rebuilding you know team like UCLA I still think the Bruins are the much better team in this matchup and because of that losing streak because of the tough start to the season and now because of Oregon State’s winning streak we we’re getting a really good number

With UCLA in this matchup even on the road I’m willing to lay the points here with the Bruins they’re the much better team fundamentally shot quality wise I think they have a lot more talent and the head coaching advantage to go with it give me UCLA I’ll lay the points to
