I saw that theres a rumor with DFS being a target for the Lakers. In my opinion, he would fit nicely next to LBJ and AD in the starting line up. I always liked this dude on his Mavs stint. He’s reliable, good defense and can heat up from the 3 pt line. He really plays like Taurean Prince, but with better defense. Their roles and numbers are similar too. His stats this season: 10.5 PPG (47% FG) (44% 3PT), 5 RPG, 13 million per year. Would be a good replacement for Rui, if they decide to include him on a trade.

First off, that rumor is from Buha who reguritates stuff so I’m not putting a lot of stock into + similar to Caruso, DFS will have a lot of suitors

But for the sake of it, yes he would be an elite fit. One of the best 3&D players in the league who can guard multiple positions. Lastly, he surprisngly played center this year and it worked. If we wanted to get cute and replicate the Rui on Jokic scheme for a portion of the game, DFS would make that 10x more effective. If not, he would be our best wing defender anyways

I’d love him here and he’d get a bigger role than on the nets. Getting him and Brogdon would be a home run.

He’s on a great contract, he’s a solid role player for the Lakers and could be an upgrade from Prince.

But why would the Nets trade for him? I’m asking for a 1st round player and a valuable player in return if I’m the Nets. Lakers don’t have any great prospects outside of A.R.

And according to everyone on here, JHS sucks and is worthless so why would the Nets take him back. Nets don’t need cap space relief either so..

He would be ok, our foward position isn’t the problem tho, it’s our Pg and center positions

    He’s shooting 45% on 6.7 attempts from 3 per 36 min

kind of wild he is only averaging 12 points a game?
