Keeping him in High Spirits and making sure he’s staying positive but you know this team means a lot to Aaron so um him missing practice or being away from the team for a long time is definitely something that we take seriously and we we’re just focus on getting them back

Here as fast as possible bench accounted for zero rebounds in this last game and I know that there’s a couple of things that go into that but just what what can the group maybe do a little bit better on the glass going forward uh I think Point

Blank period we just got to uh we got to want it more and we got to um just be better um we’ve shown that we can rebound and we’ve shown that we can you know play with physicality and get stops and rebound and run so I think that

When I wasn’t playing he would be in my ear a lot he watched me work out he knew about my work habits and my work ethics so he got in my ear a lot last year even when I wasn’t playing which meant a lot

To me cuz he didn’t have to do that and so this year now that I’m um taking on this new role and I’m playing a lot more especially more minutes with him I think our chemistry is increasing game by game um and he he’s such a great player and

He draws so much attention but he still looks for others and to create for others so the fact that he passes me the ball and trust me to create also means a lot what what do you think has been the most important thing you’ve had to do to

Kind of gain his trust and for him to trust you to to get you the ball I think mainly just the work that I put in like like I mentioned before um he comes in he sees me I me in here early every morning first one in last one out so he

Sees the work that I’m putting in he sees me in the waight room after every game with them postgame lift so us just being together when nobody’s watching I think that that’s what really builds that Bond so that when we go out there and thousands of people are watching um

It’s second nature pyton you’ve shown a a larger willingness to take and make some threes for for that second unit just where where did that come from it was I think there was a stat that you hadn’t made a three over the course of November and now you’re making them every game

Yeah I mean it’s just all in the confidence and um just in the flow of the game I’ve never been a player who forces things or makes the game about me um I don’t like to get in the way of the game I like to let the game come to me

But obviously it helps our team a lot when we can space the floor and I’m hitting threes and guys have to honor that and come out and close out to me cuz now I’m driving I’m drawing guys I’m able to facilitate I’m able to finish so it just opens everything up so it’s

Do that and I can just brighten up somebody’s day especially given the circumstances um I’m going to do it what do they teach you they teach me to just be grateful for everything that I have you know I’m able to wake up every day come out here play the game I love with

No restrictions and um just live the life that I want to live and you know some people aren’t blessed with that some people don’t come in the world with that so I’m super super blessed and grateful for the things that I have and the abilities I have and that I’m able

To make them happy with what I do so um it’s definitely two sides to it and we both make each other happy
