Kristaps Porzingis recorded a new season-high 35 points, along with eight rebounds for the Celtics, with Jayson Tatum adding 31 points, 10 assists, and seven rebounds in the victory. Cade Cunningham tallied 31 points, nine assists, and six rebounds for the Pistons in the losing effort. The Celtics improve to 15-0 at home and 24-6 in the regular season, while the Pistons lose their 28th straight game and fall to 2-29.

Ya tuvieron suerte esta madrugada los Celtics contra el equipo que lleva 30 derrotas seguidas que le obligó a ganarle en una prórroga y a parte con los árbitros ayudando a Boston en decisiones para mí muy claras a favor de Pistons, Ejemplo ( la canasta que le dan validez a Tatum para ganar el partido ,es un claro tapón y le dan los 2 puntos ), jugar en Boston es muy difícil ya que los árbitros se amilanan .
