rooting for him, but i still saw certain hesitancy and blocky play. however with that being said he looked good for that stretch in the 4th and I think he’s improving his game a lot and might be able to be a great piece going forward this year.

The 2026 NBA Championship roster: Herro/Cain/Jaquez/Jovic/Bam with Jimmy/Dunc/Locksmith/Hampton/O.Rob off the bench.

Spo isn’t playing him again for a few games btw

Definitely his best game although he sometimes still looks lacking in confident and does some goofy things. That foul on the GSW rookie running through the screen was a total brain fart. But otherwise, he seemed to show a lot of improvement especially holding his ground defensively. That steal was nice!

Niko finished with a +/- of +10, second best tonight after Herro’s +11.

Happy he got to produce on an NBA court, it’s still very clear why JJJ is getting the playtime he is with how much more developed he is but if Niko can start piecing together more and more we’ll have a good core post Butler era

I love him, I really do. Besides Jaquez I don’t get as excited to see anyone else check in

All what happens, when he plays his correct position, loved how we let him run the point tonight at times.

That was the best game of basketball I’ve seen him play.

Showed heaps of promise in this game. There were times where he seemed out of control (could be that he played all out to prove himself). I’m looking forward to him becoming more fluid with his moves and with the ball in his hand! Having him that size with the ability to hand is awesome
