Last year Bridges arrived to Brooklyn from PHX where he was a 2nd or 3rd option to be the number 1 here. He went off, won games and led total points scored from when he arrived. This season he hasn’t had the same output, the last ten games he’s averaged 16.8 ppg, 21.4 overall average ppg this season. Last year he avg 26.1 ppg for BK. He has the most clutch shots made so far this season at 14 in front of Curry’s 13.
He has been struggling this season compared to last, I wanted to wait till Allstar break to question it but it doesn’t look like that’s going to change. This isn’t a “Trade Mikal” post! I want to keep Bridges here.
Have defenses around the league caught up to Bridges, limiting him on offense?

Correction: His average is 21.1 for the season not 21.4.
No his point guard is Cam Thomas
Tbh i think it’s fatigue. The last 10 games he just doesnt look to have his feet underneath him.
Trade this man and his twin while they have value. We can come away with at least 5 1sts and a young player. It’s time to rebuild.
Tbh last year’s run was fun, but watching his game … its pretty apparent he’s not a 26 ppg scorer. He’s a great player who I’d want if we were true contenders, but he’s showing he’s probably not a lead offensive guy unfortunately
Too many carne asada burritos from Chipotle
I think it’s a slump. He’s getting good looks, but has had some off shooting nights. I personally think it’s some fatigue, that’s why I didn’t get all crying here when he sat most of last game.
10 games is a very small sample size
It’s a slump. He’s not taking terrible shots. They’re just not falling. He’s taking his high percentage shots, he’s taking them when open. It happens. He’ll figure it out on the court.
The book is out in him. In addition, he is not a number one option. He’s a strong 3 or a less optimal 2 on a contender. He is playing like someone who fits this persona should play. Great some games and off others. He needs a co-star or a lead. Him and Luka would be dynamite.
He was never a player to run your offense through
