Ham is just conditioning our team by giving our opponent a 10 point handicap every game

This is Ham’s inability to coach a starting lineup.
Our closing lineups, however, are something to behold. A 180 flip, and that’s mostly LeBron’s doing.
It’s funny/sad because ever since LeBron just said “fuck it” and took over the 4th quarters, our closing lineups have looked great. That’s just how great of a player he is.
But we really should be (at least) neutral in the first 5-8 minutes of the game 🤦♂️

I’m 100% the pistons are playing their tails off early while their opponents are enjoying some light cardio while they gauge just how hard they’ll have to try

Rotations have been a problem under our last 2 head coaches. It is not like Vogel rotations were any better, but LeBron is clearly doing absolutely nothing on defense starting games while unless it is against someone like Durant, he is only going to be aggressive on offense in the second half saving most of his juice for the 4th quarters.
At this point (and I’m joking), it would be more productive to bench LeBron playing him the entire second half where he is going to easily score over 30 per game. Dlo is a putrid defender, Reaves is bad, but what I see most games is LeBron never rotating, not taking space from shooters and many times not even raising his arms in the first quarter of many games.
You know he can do it because he is a completely different player in the 4th, but we need to build schemes to survive his passiveness starting games.
