  1. Masai’s win now team can’t even beat Celtics C team. Poeltl getting outplayed by Kornet was hilarious.

  2. Cheechers23

Worst case scenario, gas yourself out to make a fake comeback vs Boston, and a B2B vs Detroit tomorrow.

    Oof

Edit: Pascal 40 minutes, Scottie 38, OG 37…

Also, the fully healthy Raps lost to the Celtics B/C team. How can the FO say they believe in this team man, they aren’t fucking close to being anything

  3. Dramatic-Document

That McDaniels substitution went from genius to complete foolishness in a matter of seconds

  4. InstanceMoney

Scottie Barnes just amazes me every single night. 7 threes in a game is crazy, from a guy that was labeled a “screener” on draft night. Anyways, off to Detroit for superbowl Saturday!

Should have won that game against the Celtics B Team. A couple of observations –

    * I don’t think Darko has been anything to write home about thus far, but credit him for the comeback tonight, he changed it up and found something that worked to close the gap.

    * Scottie is a lock for All Star. With some injuries… could he sneak into All NBA?

    * Too many possessions in the 4th without Scottie or Siakam touching the ball. Dennis had it in his hands too much.

    * Boston traded a late first (turned out to be the 25th Pick) for Derrick White who KILLED us tonight. We swapped a first for Thad “DNP-CD” Young and what looks likely to be a lotto pick and two seconds for Poeltl. Pain.

    * Scottie and Pascal can exist together. Trade OG and a combination of Dennis / Poeltl / Trent to get some depth around the boys.

  6. Afrorobotics

We were getting blown out by the Celtics B team, kept in the game by Scottie and Siakam, got actual production from Jalen McDaniels, and lost by a possession. Weird game

  7. octopus86sg

derrick white salary is lower than GTJ. Kornet bullies and outplay yak.

  8. Writing the obituary in advance for tomorrow 😬💀

  9. Sad. But man, I love Pascal and Scottie. These guys can absolutely play together, especially when Scottie is shooting like this

  10. PlumCantaloupe

It was a good game. The Raps played hard and Scottie and Pascal almost willed with some help from Jalen. Can’t complain too much, except going down so huge in the 1st.

  11. Don’t care. I’m just hear to get ready for Toronto to lose to Detroit because at least it will give me a storyline of this team to follow.

  12. t-earlgrey-hot

Scottie is turning into an all star this season, really all I’m worried about. Good for McDaniels, maybe this gives him some confidence.

Unfortunately this team will go nowhere without a star guard so that has to be the FO’s key priority. Jak really does not fit well with this group as is and Schroeder only really works with a smaller role, good 6-7th man.

  13. ScrewActSci

What happened to OG? Everyone is cooking him lately

  14. saddening but some how that went better than expected lol. Also thats the most ive seen JMac score and Scottie “Curry” Barnes wowza

  15. ArrayMichael7

Siakam is really good wish we coulda fed him more down the stretch but overall great games by him and Scottie.

We aren’t good so idrc about the result

  16. JoshSran04

If gtj and og did something today we would have won

  17. jansy1646

What’s the point of being an elite perimeter defender like OG if you’re just gonna gamble for the steal and give up the easy drive to give the Celtics the lead lmao

  18. Iliketothrowaway2456

That was ugly. I’m sorry but this “competitive” team just lost to a team that had to force a huge comeback to win yesterday along with play overtime on a back to back, with 3 of their starters (including their best and probably 2nd best player this year) not playing.

Yes some of our guys played well, but the Center who we acquired to make us a dark hours, couldn’t play down the stretch cause of Luke Kornet. May I ask: Who the Fuck is Luke Kornet?

You know what, Fuck this shit Lmaoo, let’s lose tomorrow so we’re a laughing stock and the memes keep us in conversation for our futility..Maybe, just maybe our management will actually do something, or see their seats heat up a bit.

Ending on a good note: SCOTTIE BARNES

  19. So Jakob “Top 10 C” Poeltl got outplayed by Luke Kornet, lol you can’t make this shit up.

  20. Afrorobotics

Man, I know he had two great steals, and I know I’ve been shitting on him lately, but some nights its so hard to watch a cold Gary. We need an actual legitimate shooting threat

  21. DomincNdo

That Poeltl trade looks worse and worse every game. Lately it seems that both Pascal and Scottie can get it going in a game but OG is having a difficult time. Defense is still suspect and Raptors losing first quarters is like a tradition now.
