Great Knicks that I’ll always remember fondly. IQ was my favorite guy on the team and I’m glad he’ll have the chance to play more in Toronto

  2. I really am sad that we just traded these two. If this backfires, this will be a day remembered in infamy.

Can’t shake the feeling that we got robbed lol

  5. At least they did right by RJ and sent him back to Canada 🇨🇦

  7. So bittersweet. I’m really excited for RJ to be able to go home and to a much better situation for him-he never really fit next to Brunson and Randle, but also was one of my favorite players through ups and downs.

I think losing Quickley is going to hurt us more, but he will also probably get a chance to start sooner rather than later in Toronto and I’m excited to see what he becomes as a player.

man i def thought IQ really had something more to prove as a Knick. He’s gonna be a star in Toronto imo

Seeing these two not in knicks jerseys is gonna sting. Forever in my heart RJ and IQ 💙🧡

Dosnt move the needle and less assets to work with in the future.

  11. Some great memories from both of these guys. IQ’s first game on the court made him a fan favorite, and RJ’s demeanor for taking on the challenge of being the lottery pick, both stepping up in some major moments…

I get the vision but definitely hurts in the moment. We’ll always have Quick skipping against Boston and RJ’s buzzer beater in MSG.

…but I am laughing to myself that Evan ended up surviving here longer than them, didn’t have that on the bingo card to start the year.

Both had some great moments and will be remembered fondly. Glad IQ will get to start and hope playing in Canada will revive FIBA RJ. Would love to see them grow as a duo

Jan 20 about to hit different. Mark the calendars media team you better make a great fucking tribute video 😭😭😭

Thank you RJ and IQ, thank you for being part of the team’s rise out of the mediocrity of the 2010s into a team that we are proud of. Once a Knick, always a Knick!

People are going to hate on RJ now, but he stepped up in that Cavs series and helped win us our first playoff series in over a decade. I wish he could of figured it out here, but I still believe he will be a productive player somewhere.

Literally just copped a quickley jersey 2 weeks ago

In a basketball sense, I think I’m ok with this trade

But as a fan, boy this one stings 😭

  18. When OG is wearing a Knicks jersey, raining threes and locking superstar guards down, this will hurt a lot less.

  19. smileyfrown

RJ and Randle got us to our first playoffs in a decade.

And Rj was a huge part of us getting to the 2nd round last year, some of you guys trashing him or IQ on the way out just plain suck and speak more about you as fans

These guys helped built the foundation of where this team is now

  20. Say what you want about RJs game. The guy was very professional

  21. Scary-Web9739

Rj was my favorite Knick. Felt like he was my son lol

  22. Doobie_wan_Kenobi

I hate to admit it but Bill Simmons called this trade on his show a couple weeks ago. I hope they go and ball out 😔

IQ becomes a Knicks killer that you really can’t hate. Gonna miss him bouncing happily into timeouts after a floater or splashing a deep three.

  24. I remember being so fired up we landed in the top 3 of that “3 player draft.” Okay so RJ isn’t Ja or Zion but I always appreciated his attitude and demeanor. He didn’t have the athleticism but kept at it every year.

IQ…man. He’s had huge moments and legit looked like a superstar at times. We weren’t going to pay him, he didn’t exactly “fit,” but damn he is and will become a great player.

This coming from someone who likes the trade, both guys will certainly be missed.

Knicks got BIGGER and better defensively. They really did not have a true SF on the roster until now. Welcome OG. please please please help us defend Butler, Giannis and Tatum

  26. BeachCruisin22

I’ll always love RJ. Always played hard, never a dick, showed up in big moments.
