Um I mean early to to knock down some threes and you know obviously they get out 15 yeah but you being able to hit some threes kind of kept your connected a little bit what were you feeling early what were you seeing early on on the offensive end U my main focus tonight
Was get my defense back in um motor cuz I feel like I’ve slacked on the defensive end um it’s tough guarding the best players every night and um you know I got to accept that role so um and I let defense did take my offense and so
Uh I let defense I play hard on defense and I feel like I got good shots and you know everything worked out you feel like you guys found in that third quarter defensively more physical I feel like in the beginning of the game you know they’re a physical team they pressure us
They try to deny us but and we kind of bought into that um you know we missed dunks Miss bunnies little things like that so uh I think we came more physical and we got to it Chris has 10 assists like Midway through the third quarter
Just what did you see from him as a playmaker tonight he’s a phenomenal passer I didn’t even realize that you know I thought coming into uh playing with him he’s just a nice midi bucket but he can do a lot more than that man he he’s always talking to me always on
My uh ass and uh he’s a great uh bet you said that it’s hard to guard the toughest guy every night but does it make your defense better in doing so uh yeah it definitely does you know I’m I’m grateful for the challenge you know uh I
Was I came in here um looking to score the ball and shoot the ball but um you know I had to change that role when Drew left and um I I’m embracing it as much as I can you know it’s it’s it’s tough challenge but uh every night it’s going
To be a challenge I like that you know gets me into the game um Dame foul trouble first half seven points I mean as scorers you know that that’s not yeah what’s going to happen so what is that set what kind of tone do that set maybe
A little bit coming out of a half when you’re down but you know that guy hasn’t really gotten going yet well I know that I’m it’s about that time to start getting back on defense cuz his is going up um that’s my guy I told him before
The game cuz I know he didn’t have the best game last game that I said don’t worry I’m getting back for you don’t go go crazy tonight and um you know fortunately he got in fou trouble play he still played amazing finally 5 threes so TI Brook I
Think that’s the second most in a year prob I think you have up to eight nine games with five threes in a season Milwaukee yeah okay now Brook’s head so you tie with Brook Ray Allen’s got the record with 12 fl wor I’m going to beat
That okay but I mean so this I mean you’re doing that now so what does it feel like offensively when you’re getting those shots ball movement you know the ball’s moving um we’re when we don’t play well I’m not trying to be like a um cocky player or anything but
If I don’t get more than four threes then the balls not moving I think um you know uh with Giannis Chris and Dame you know they’re going to double team them so if I just stay in the court and stay present I I’ll be good so I’m just
Thankful that we got a great team and it hasn’t happened much and even even if it does happen those guys are doing what they’re supposed to do we get a win

Easily becoming one of my favorite players. I swear I never see him miss a shot. I think his value will only be felt more and more as the season goes on. When teams start to lock in on stopping Giannis Dame and Khris, Beas will be there to kill ‘em from range
As much as I like seeing Dame and Giannis scored they gotta create some open looks for Malik when he's hot. Damm he's a great shooter and he ought to be one of the low key threats of the squad.

He made a very good point about his 3pta being directly related to how the ball is moving by the team, or not.
I often see Beas criticized when games happen where he only gets like 1-3 shots for an entire game. That's always confused me, though. Cuz like he can't really create his own shot, so doesn't that mean the big 3 aren't finding him enough?
And i saw that come true in the 2nd game vs the Knicks this past week. In the 1st game the big 3, Beas, and Bobby all got like 13-17 shots up. In the 2nd game, the big 3 all took 20+ shots and Bobby still took like 15 or so. Beas was the one affected the most, and iirc he only got 3 shots the whole game. So they really do need to have an emphasis on finding Beas and getting him involved offensively. Cuz his ridiculously good shooting has gravity too, which can make Dame and Giannis and Khris' lifes easier too
It’s straight unfair that they’re throwing Malik to the wolves like this.
We see the effort but this dude is plain not built for defense lol
To expect him to guard the best perimeter players is wild.
