I get so fucking sick of this depressing ass fan base sometimes man. I’m convinced most of y’all haven’t been Knicks fans more than a few years and didn’t watch the team from 2013-2021, the position we are currently in is miles and I mean miles ahead of where we were in any one of those years. Y’all always have something to complain about.

We were missing FOUR rotational players and still made this a game. Y’all need to calm down.

  2. nofaplove-it

Randle went to Obi right away at the end of the game lol. They’re cool

  3. Down several rotational guys, gassed being a b2b, and these pacers hitting 3’s like it’s practice

It is what it is, but this OG better come out ready to do some damage. I seriously hope he can help our defensive woes, especially at the perimeter.

  4. Not even stressing this one. We won earlier today.

That said, I’m circling Feb 1st next year.

Fuck the Pacers became more important than Fuck the Heat.

  5. Sigerlion

The only good thing about this game is DDV making me forget all about RJ already.

  6. Main-County-1177

Thibs is not a defensive coach in the modern nba. His scheme is absolutely atrocious, just open 3 after open 3 every possession

  7. teknomatic

I’m sick and tired of teams having 3pt practice against us. Thibs needs to get his head out of his ass and realize his defense is not working

  8. VirtuousFool

Regardless of how you feel about them, do not let the events of today distract you from the fact this was the most successful calendar year for the New York Knicks in a long while

New Year and some New Knicks on Monday afternoon

  9. Divincenzo going for 38, Hali getting over 20 assists, Fournier getting playing time. What a weird day

  10. spaceninj

Ok, 17-15 to end the year.

Now it’s time to make a run in January when we actually play some bad teams and have some home games.

    We’re doing fine.

  11. Welp. On to Minnesota… but I fully expect Leon to address the bench. Even with the new additions, the scoring depth is severely lacking.

  12. misterdrippy_

Yeah OG will *definitely* fix our shitty defensive scheme. Oh well, just gonna have to hope I guess. 🙄

  13. Okieant33

You motherfuckers need to learn how to set expectations and control your soft ass emotions. This team had 4 players not available, got to their hotel at 2AM last night after a rough ass game and had to play the best offense in the league.

Give them credit for giving us everything they had. I sure as shit didn’t expect a W tonight and its fine. No one will remember this game in a month.

Calm down and let’s see what we look like at full strength and let the FO cook with more moves. Y’all can’t get this emotional about sports. Especially not the Knicks. When we’re a dynasty and losing games like this, then get mad.

  14. At least we didn’t go winless in December like some thought

Let’s start 2024 right. Hopefully og is as good as advertised

  15. Hemispheres33

Y’all losing your favorite ‘escape-goat’ (shoutout Starbury) in RJ. He’s a good player.

Hopefully OG steps up for us. We could really use his defense.

  16. Some_Cringey_Random

i dont think its necessarily fair to address the teams state without seeing how the new rotational pieces fit in, i think OG’s 3&D playstyle is really gonna change things around here, although yall probably didnt need me to tell you that.

    also HOLY SHIT DIVO 38PTS

  17. ZoidbergSaysWoop

Anunoby is one piece, but the larger issue is not having an NBA caliber backup center.

Achiuwa is not a backup center.

The Knicks desperately must find a solution to assist Hartenstein.

  18. SatoshiGlockamoto

Can’t deny this game was still fun to watch. Im excited for the future.

  19. NoScopeMusical

    – First game after the trade. Shorthanded and still made it a game.
    – DiVincenzo (career high 38 & 4 steals) was the best player on the floor.
    – The Pacers played faster and better. Haliburton (22 & 23) is insane.
    – Sucks to lose IQ, but it’s business. Hope he and RJ smash it in Toronto. Excited to see what the new additions bring to the Knicks.
    – Shame we couldn’t win, but at least we didn’t lose to the Pistons…

  20. Living_Internet_2970

    Oh well

Let’s get full strength and see where this team is

Indy has a really tough schedule coming up so they will fall down

At least we didn’t lose to Detroit

Miami lost to the jazz as well

Yes these things are gonna make me sleep easier Tonight

  21. chronotraction_

Is precious achiuwa gonna play center/ will he be a defensive upgrade there? Our defense nosedived when we put Donte in the starting lineup and then got even worse when Mitch went down. Getting OG should replace Grimes’ role of a high level perimeter defender in the starting lineup, hoping that Achiuwa can provide better paint protection for 10-15 minutes than Gibson can

  22. Odysseus_Lannister

Still above .500 and we’ve been without our DPOY candidate big man for several weeks. Oh and we just traded 2 of our guys who played big roles for us. Not mad as this game at all. I do think it’s time to put up or shut up for the Thibs tenure though. He’s got to fix our perimeter defense and make this team have an identity again. We’re not a second chance hustle team like we were last year right now. Guys are gonna have to step up and really lead, I hope brunson and Randle have it in them.

Also, we can’t blame RJ anymore for bad offensive nights.
