I think Deuce and DDV are capable of platooning the backup PG/primary ball-handler role in IQ’s absence.
This is actually a great deal. McBride’s 3 point shooting is looking real legit recently. If he keeps that up plus defense he easily outplays this contract

Deuce hasn’t played much, but I think he’s done enough to show that he’s a capable backup. This should hopefully be a good buy low, get high reward/value contract.
As a backup PG I’m 100% confident he can come in and give 12 minutes of really good defense, so in that sense I kinda love locking him up to be Brunsons backup.
Obvious the real question is can he become enough of a scoring threat to be a guy who we can rely on to play PG on nights Brunson is hurt or doesn’t have it.
We needed someone new to bitch about not getting enough minutes.
