[Slater] The Warriors are starting Trayce Jackson-Davis and Chris Paul tonight, I’m told. Kevon Looney and Brandin Podziemski to the bench. Steph Curry. Chris Paul. Klay Thompson. Jonathan Kuminga. Trayce Jackson-Davis

Same line up that closer against the Celtics 😉

they searching… Kerr can only have one rook in the starting lineup or he will explode

Luka will be a tough matchup because he’s a hunting god. Trial by fire.

Thank you so fucking much Kerr. Maximize the strength and not minimize the weakness. Love this move of separating Looney from Splash Bros.

I’m guessing Kerr decided while Podz can handle the ball, he can’t really run an offense yet. He probably wants CP3 as another floor general next to Steph similar to the Steph/Draymond dynamic.

As for TJD, seems pretty self-explanatory. Defenses can’t ignore him like they can Looney

Kerr will pull Paul quick and then re-insert with the second unit, right? If Doncic plays, we will definitely need to make a push whenever he sits, and Paul leading that unit is kinda key, IMO.

The point is to have cp out there to actively look for steph. He’s been going way too long in the first quarter without even attempting a shot recently. And obviously, looney is just not good enough offensively to maximize steph

Excellent line up, excellent second unit. This is the way.

Let’s get it. Failure is absolutely not an option if we are any sort of serious team this season

Kerr wants to see if Podz can run the second unit

    Just in case there’s a trade…lol

happy to see TJD start, but I don’t understand the obsession with 3 guards

would rather see Kerr experiment with a Steph, Klay, Wiggs, JK, TJD

  12. Dar8_Vader

Somehow, Kerr finds a way to go to the 3 guard lineup.

They are testing if JK can replace Wiggs in the line up. Same for Looney, though what I see is either they want to increase Paul’s value or evaluate JK and trade Wiggs if they are sure of JK’s capability.

  14. Honest to God,

What does Klay have to do to be removed from the starting lineup?

    ZERO rebounds against the Heat.

    ZERO defense against the Heat.

HORRIBLE shot selection against the Heat.

+/- of **NEGATIVE 26** against the Heat.

Moving CP3 to the starting lineup could quite possibly destroy the effectiveness of the 2nd unit.

What the hell did Podz do to be demoted?

I hope TJD & Kuminga **FEAST** at the rim.

Thank God. Commented this morning Podz and Looney are not contender starters

Sounds like a legit lineup. Two bouncy, high flying young guns and some vets that can shoot lights out.
