‘We finally got it!’ – Jalen Duren on Pistons snapping their 28L streak | NBA on ESPN

Jaylen Duren it has been a little over two months since you’ve gotten to celebrate the adversity to come through it can you describe the feeling in your heart right now man I’m just happy that we was able to get back you know what I mean we fought we’ve been fighting these

Last couple of months we try to get one we been through a lot a lot of injuries a lot of adversity with our team but you know I mean we fought hard and finally got it this game was close all night there’s so many guys we could point out

Including you Five Guys in double figures what change did you see in your team tonight to battle and finish this one out man I mean we’ just been staying together you know like I said we’ve been through a lot of adversity as a team and the message has always been to stay

Together don’t jump off the boat everybody was against us but you know if you stay together we going to get something done what did you see from Kate Cunningham as he started this game slow became that guy by the end of this not only getting his own but creating

Opportunities for you guys as well I mean we know who he is he’s a star you know what I mean he going to be a star starting this league for a long time to come and we trust him with everything we trust him with the ball in his hands We

Trust every decision he makes so he showed that who he is tonight Cade has taken a lot of the grunt of this losing streak and put it on himself how much have you seen him grow as a leader and motivator and how has he been the glue

For you guys throughout all this yeah yeah yeah yeah no he’s been good I mean he’s always been the leader even him being hurt last year and me and Z being rookies he’s always been the type of guy to stay in our air let us know we doing

Right let us know we doing wrong so it was nothing new when we started this year with I’m healthy as you started to see the crowd get on their feet and hear the let’s go Pistons champ what were you starting to think in your mind it

Felt felt better than sell the team it felt better than sell the team chance but I mean just happy that they still supported us happy that they stayed with us through everything and like I said we ain’t done nothing yet but it’s good to just get that monkey off our back

Appreciate you Jaden congratulations thank you [Applause] [Applause] p

  1. pistons have a solid 4 youngster core with Cade, jaden ivey,Duren and Aussar but have the worse coach, stopping to give minutes aussar now and playing killian over jaden is crazy…is all about coaching….fire monty now

  2. Why hasn't anyone mentioned that this Toronto Raptors team was shorthanded because of the trade that they made yesterday evening?

  3. I knew Toronto would lose this game, because I'm a Toronto fan and they disappoint me at every opportunity. At least Detroit expects failure, I have to pretend my team can win games

  4. How can these guys be happy happy they won 💀 it’s like your still the worst nba team of all time
