Knicks look to be gearing up with more big defensive guard-like forwards. (For Barrett and Quickley) Have already seen the pacers pick up an enforcer in Johnson.
Would’ve loved OG if there was any chance at all, but that was never a reality. If they could somehow get Caruso that would be a really good 5th starter (even though Beasley is playing his role really well). Markkanen would be awesome as well but that’s a near 0% chance I’d think lol

It seems like every trade involves Pat and Marjon being shipped out, and frankly I think I’d rather keep them than pickup anyone being mentioned.

If we’re going to be honest we don’t really have the assets to get anyone major. I see them being involved in the buy out market.

We’ve already got a complete championship contender, pending healthy starting 5 + Bobby, Connaughton, Payne, and Crowder. We could see a bit of Ajax or Beauchamp, but it’s still to early to tell with them. Most teams can’t go 10 deep in the playoffs.

If we can get a guard with better defensive chops than Payne/Beasley then I think it gives us more versatility with lineups, but that’s a luxury really and our offense + net rating is more representative of playoff success, where defense is called differently and guys are allowed to be more physical.

It’s like this every season. A lot of fans have ambitious dreams/furious why Bucks aren’t involved with talks of big name players. Bucks don’t have the assets to get anyone major. Someone like another Jar Crowder is far more likely. Thybulle maybe. But for everything, they’ll have to give up someone that might be hurtful.
Whatever happens, I trust Horst. He knocks it out of the park every time.

i agree with most… we have nothing to really offer but if someone can it is our gm and if we stand pat i trust him that doing so is the right call…. personally there is not much i will give up and i want jelling not more mixing… we have stuff to unlock with the team now.. those r the present s under the tree… ajax develops, cash heals and powers up, dame and giannis morph together into a baskteball colossus and we get boss man back… lets roll….
