My thoughts personally are that we would have winning record without Embiid if RoCo & Springer played all of Tobias & Morris’s minutes. Tobias and Morris are the two biggest NET Negatives on the team. Both of them aren’t good at a single element of basketball (neither are good shooters, neither are good defenders, neither are good playmakers, etc). Our net rating is quite high when Mook Morris is off the floor just like with Tobias too. Tobi cost us in many of the big games without Embiid too like the Celtics which we would’ve won if he didn’t play, etc.

Also people who want Morris to be our backup center aren’t serious. Morris is the main reason why our backup center minutes haven’t looked good this season at times, not to mention Morris cant defend either. Go look at Paul Reeds net rating when Morris is off the floor this season, it says it all. It gets even higher when tobi is off the floor too.

Last year team are not beating Wolves, Heat, Celtics …. etc without Embiid and Harden

Last season’s team without Joel was far better. Harden carried us in a lot of games. We don’t have a replacement for Harden if Maxeys playing bad

Doc + normal squad = chokingest coach of all time Doc + undermanned squad = top 5 coach of all time no matter what
Nurse + normal squad = top 4 coach in the league easily Nurse + undermanned squad = hard to coach a team to wins without the MVP
We still had Harden last year when Joel was absent and weren’t relying on new role players to fill in gaps. This doesn’t absolve Nurse or the team, but instead highlights our needs.

James Harden is one of the best players in the history of the NBA. At least the 3rd best SG since MJ. Of course he can carry.
One of the cool thing about the Big 3 league was older guys who can still cook sometimes but are too old for 82 could still go play a mini season. Harden can still cook, but not every other night.
This year the Sixers have nothing in the stratosphere of older Harden playing like he was young every so often when required besides Maxey. Instead we got Melton or Bev. Of course we can’t win the same without Embiid.

I don’t care about any regular season stats under docs tenure. Enjoying the games but I’m biding my time till the playoffs to see what this team can do
