He let Doncic go 1 on 1 vs. Looney and TJD all game. Where was the defensive strategy? Kerr waited until the end of the 3rd to start blitzing and doubling Doncic. By then it was too late. He had 30+ pts already was controlling the pace of the game and was super comfortable doing whatever he wanted. He finished with 39 pts 8 rebounds and 10 assists.

Our defense is dying without Draymond, it also happened when we were winning games. Kind of hard to contain Luka without your defensive anchor. Wiggins and JK did a decent job but his just too good.
Since the start of the 1st evrytime Dubs doubled Doncic he made the right pass and the Mavs roleplayers punished them with a 3 or a drive at the hoop.
Sometimes you gotta live with a great player making tufs shots if his teammates are hot, he was taking a lot of rough iso middies tonight in the clutch he just made them because Luka is like that.
Have Looney or TJD gaurd him for two quarters while Kuminga and Wiggins didnt play together until it was too late. Kerr and Klay trash bros
This team is massively lost. They were convinced that their starting five from last year, that was #1 in the league, would still be a top starting 5. Then they started the first 6 or so games hot and believed Poole’s on court issues were the root of things.
Then they started losing and kept believing the starting five would find its form.
Never happened and now we’re here. The team is completely lost. You can see it on their faces. They have no idea who they’re supposed to be. All that continuity of the core that each season was wrapped around is falling apart and they are lost in a desert of mediocrity unable to find their bearings.
We tried to double doncic and the others beat us. We didn’t double doncic and he beat us.
Sometimes there’s nothing you can do vs great players or when the others are hitting their shots.
You can’t stop Luka either way he’s the MVP

We could have tried a 3-2 zone with Moody in. It worked during the 2022 WCF. Really don’t know why we didn’t try. Also our transition defense is so trash we shouldn’t be crashing the boards on offense.
