An early mock draft selection I like – nba draft room has us taking Matas Buzelis. A 6’10 small forward with a great range and court vision.

His scouting report –

> “Buzelis is a big wing/guard with a versatile skill set who is playing with the G League Ignite.

He’s got handles and great court vision and excels at moving the ball and operating with the flow of the offense. His passing ability stands out for a 6-10 player and he’s got a great feel for the game.

He has played on the ball a lot in his young career but is growing into a big guard/wing in the MPJ, Gordon Hayward and Mike Dunleavy Jr. molds.

He’s got a thin frame and will have to hit the gym hard to get to the point of handling NBA level contact but this can be said for most up and coming prospects.

Buzelis has a really smooth and promising 3pt shot. His release is on point and he projects as a high level floor spacer. He’s also got a great touch around the basket with both hands and an overall refined skill level.

I see him as a solid or high level role player at the NBA level – a guy who plays off the ball and does a bit of everything on the court. He’s not a first option offensive player but his all around game could make him an All Star in time.”
