Trade out Jabari for Amen, trade out holiday for Jalen green. Or keep holiday instead of green and give us a 29 rockets pick.
But this isn’t bad honestly. Good place to start negotiations

Why would the rockets do this?

I can’t take any of y’all seriously with these trade ideas

They aren’t desperate enough for Mikal to give up such juicy picks. It’s in their best interest to make moves with other teams that force Brooklyn into a worse situation if anything

Why would the nets pick up ANOTHER injured player? 50$ mill chillin on the bench

Good framework to start negotiations, but this is not the deal I would personally agree to.
Let me quickly caveat by saying that the ‘25 swap is worthless unless OKC decides to revoke their protections (which they won’t). I’m happy to take it back, but HOU moved it and as far as Brooklyn is concerned, now OKC has swap rights instead of HOU.
I would rather the 2024 1st back than the ‘25 pick back.
As far as players? I personally don’t want Jabari, so I would look to get a 3rd team involved to take him.
I do want Cam Whitmore. He would be a must-have for me in any deal for Bridges.

Please stop. These mock trades have NEVER been good and this one’s just as bad as some of the worst ones I’ve seen here.
We’re not blowing up the roster in a year we’re not contending in. Mikal is not getting moved, straight up. Even if he did the trade would have to start with Simmons so we actually benefit from it. Everybody relax and take a breath.

Bro u asked for people’s thoughts, and spiraling on every comment. U looking for discussion or agreement?

We are better off trading our assets for a star than trading for some young guys that will probably be busts
TheLetter_Eight
I just wanna preface. Any trade with the rockets surrounding receiving our own picks back is a complete mistake. If the rockets are putting Jabari/Jalen/Amen on the table we’re talking. But anything involving receiving our own picks back makes zero sense. Getting our pick back for like 2026 is basically waving the white flag and saying we tank until then and PRAY we get a good player. If we trade Mikal it’s for another teams future in terms of draft capital or high upside young players. Im talking something akin to last years Portland deal aka the Scoot Anfernee package or a unpredictable team future wise like the Suns package. Otherwise we should just hold on to him.
