I wanna see the league hold 3-Point Brick Contest for bad shooters just for entertainment, and Tre should be invited, along with Ausar Thompson, Giannis, Terance Mann……

  2. Southern_sky

Happy New Year y’all. Hope 2024 will yield more wins

  3. Prize_Possession3899

Happy new year everybody. I hope you all have a happy, healthy, and prosperous 2024.

    **Pros**

    * WEMBY. Had some spectacular highlights. I thought his 3pt shots looked better in the 1st half when he took his time with them.
    * Vassell with a decent game.
    * Branham continues to showcase stronger finishes at the rim that he didn’t quite have last season.
    * Mamu played some solid minutes
    * Wesley with some assists

    **Cons**

Let’s keep this short. It’s NYE.

    * 3pt shooting
    * Some really silly TOs, including dangerous passes in the backcourt with defenders standing right there. They did the same in Portland with Thybulle standing there a few times also.

    **Overall**

Tried to hang in there for the most part, but the Celtics blew it open in the 3rd quarter.

    **Looking Forward**

Back on the road against a Memphis team that’s been expectedly playing better since Morant’s return

    **GSG**

If the Celtics don’t win it this year that’s gonna be fucking embarrassing

  5. adelphotes

    On track for 55-27

Tough loss, but it’s our last loss of the year

    Go Spurs Go

  6. The Pistons gave the Celtics more trouble than this sorry ass team

  7. Empty-Mall-1636

OKC didn’t happen overnight. The league can laugh all they want, we’re building from the ground up and aren’t wasting prime years like other teams that have no future.

  8. fifa20noob

I have no idea how or if we can improve at that point. Part of the process I guess, happy new year everyone, enjoy tonight !

  9. Aussie_Spur

The one and only positive from this entire year was drafting Wemby.

It seemed like from the day we drafted him, we just have sat on our hands and not cared about anything else.

We really need to improve next season.

  10. CoffeeRaider

I’ll be honest. I’m not seeing any week to week or month to month improvement with this team. They might be regressing if anything

“I’m kinda sick right now, I am sick”

  12. Gonna take years spurs fans but every lose like this, adds more fuel to the comeback tour that will enrage once this team is good. Let pop develop these guys and let wright bring in a lot more talent. Contenders aren’t build over night or by one draft pick. It’s a team game of 5 players. Bench needs to be good and the team needs to be able to gel together. All that takes years

  13. CrissCrossAppleSos

Close one, good on Boston managing to pull it out at the end

  14. ClippersToSeattle

On a positive spurs note it was nice to see derrick again

  15. Apprehensive-Fox-740

“Are you sure Brian? He’s a defensive liability and a horrible shooter! We should look into someone else!”

Brian: “Holy moly, give him a max deal RIGHT NOW”

  16. notcool_dood

Once again, we can’t defend 3’s. If the team we are playing against does a 5 out offense, our defense instantly collapse and easily nullifies Wemby’s defensive presence. If Pop is serious in at least winning a few more games, he’ll give more minutes to Devonte who clearly is a better passer and scorer than our few younger guys.

  17. thedam100

Said it before. Bad match up. Celtics leds the league in 3p shot attempts and makes. Spurs are the second worse team in defending threes and the worse at making them. Fun fact the two most efficient shots in basketball is a restricted area 2p shot and the 3p shot. Celtics a championship level team beat a rebuilding team. Not entirely surprising so I’m personally not disappointed. I enjoyed Wemby a lot tonight. I do wish he was off his minute restriction but a rebuild is a rebuild we got to think future guys. The team needs more 3p shooters, people more active on the glass and better perimeter defense. Same story all year, we will see how it changes as the team builds around Wemby. All in all, excited for the year going forward, I hope you all have a great new year. Go Spurs Go. ¡Por Vida!

  18. simba80328

1st time seeing Wemby in person. I had fun even with the blowout. GSG

  19. Victor barely managed to save his block streak before garbage time

  20. Altruistic-Age-33

When Wemby out, no one can protect rebounds.

When Wemby in, no one can guard 3.

    lol
