Kentucky Connection was UNSTOPPABLE in Memphis | 12.31.23

To get up in your space Marcus Smart with a high arcing three a little bit short here’s fox in transition surveys pulls a deep three I said every time he shoots it he feels like he’s going to score it Darren Fox’s Marksman see how they load to him in transition

In I think that Harrison Barnes got a tip on that right there nice job in transition by the Kings Fox fills the corner like he’s supposed to and drills his second three ball pulls the trigger in there he had time to adjust the I

Don’t know how he was so open and he can always take it into the pain in scor so dear and fox like that TI song Whatever You Like well and he’s you know one of those guys that has played minimal time this year injuries has been a problem

For him as well he’s played in just eight games coming into today and they’re happy to have him back in the lineup for his shooting alone that he is played with over the years and through the injuries former MVP is Trey ly from Deep got it oh and Trey just and getting

Back on defense for the steel in transition great job by Trey following up a a fantastic performance in Atlanta Malik monk from Deep got it did not really play last season and is just having a great season for Taylor Jenkins monk got into the paint comes up on the other side he

Nashed it as they call it gave him the W I love the rotation on that defensive possession by the Kings hurder trying to buy one left it on the front rim Lenn tipped out to Monk on the Fly Malik got it blocked comes right out to Fox from Deep

Butter dear and fox with his third triple tonight of proving that point and making me look good right yeah that move went under the radar a little bit here’s monk off the lens Screen sloms through the lane and scores it off glass and Malik with his handles he’s so good in

That two-man game and Alex kind of set that little rub screen for him down Mar a little Chase action with sabonis here’s Murray on the wing monk in traffic draws the hit and one wow though he got a couple hits on this play and he’s able to get through

And finish jiren Jackson was the one at The Rim pull flips the screen aonis boy good screen assist by sabonis leads to the three kind of use some of that that energy on the defensive side but Malik monk has to like this match up against bomo hit him with the hesi in the

Pull-up that midi was butter folks 70 points in the first half for Sacramento and Taylor Jenkins is putting Marcus Smart on Damon sabonis Jackson misfires inside quickly it’s Fox into the paint decelerates and gets the floer to fall the Clippers this is their first game home after that road

Trip and sometimes that first game home Mor switches on to Fox time to eat for dear holding onto his dribble rising up over Mor and it’sit nothing but cord looks at his bench and said yes MVP type season he’s got the shoulders to prove it and the shoulders to carry the

Offense when we come back lead still at a comfortable 19 for the Kings monk had that prodigious second quarter where he scored 14 and picking up the beat checking his wrist whips it over to Fox on the drive one more Glenn no call not baset Daren Fox deposits at home it

Looked like it was basket interference up top like you just said of shooting the three off the turnover Here Comes Mitchell lobs it up monk caught it below the rim and went Above the Rim one more time for the people in the back on out jumping people to get the

Board oh mon look a wicked ankle Taker and rising up Malik means king in Arabic shot clock down to five for Fox got to get to work in a hurry du Canard in the air found it that was a difficult shot absolutely that dho action and he’s a great shooter listen I’m not

Concerned at all oh popped the clutch and laid it off the glass and he was the one that got the stop at The Rim nice possession by Malik monk had second thoughts not third he never has third thoughts April losing to the Warriors but Sacramento’s year 2023 will be

Remembered for the year that they finally got back to the playoffs but now Mike Brown faces higher expectations ones that he welcomes very much along with Fox and sabonis it’s about more than the playoffs now it’s about title talk and making it payoff final thought King I

Think they did a great job taking care of business the last two games of this road trip and and what I like to see is yeah every team’s going to have a game that they wish they could get back but it’s how do they recover and they’ve

Done it consistently so nice job here on the road for the Kings and I say let’s get home

Malik Monk (27 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists) and De’Aaron Fox (24 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists) take over in Memphis to lead Sacramento to a 31-point win on New Year’s Eve.

  1. Kings need like one good trade and it's over. Call me crazy but I would go after Draymond Green. Add his defense and passing to this wow! I think he just needs a new team that's winning and he will behave. 😄

  2. 1:25 Even on the GOOD highlights Kevin Huerter throwing up bricks! What happened to him?
If he could average 14-5-4 a game we wouldn't even have to worry about trade talks right now!
I love the tenacity he plays with but his shot dried up and with it his confidence seems like it's
gone! I'm pretty sure we won't see Huerter in a Kings uniform by the trade deadline. 😥

  3. Thankfully Alex Len has taken over the backup center spot by force. He has been nice offensively and defensively by doing all the dirty work.

Just look at 4:03 how he recognizes the mismatch, and seals JJJ for the easy bucket.
