16 game winning streak at home before this game… just didn’t play as well as we should’ve honestly especially everyone outside of Giannis, Khris, Brook and Malik.
Giannis took way too many unnecessary 3s and was pretty underwhelming in transition compared to how good he usually is.
Dame was pretty ass tonight. Should’ve been better. Our point guard play in general was.
We allowed way too many offensive rebounds, turnovers, second chance points, bench points as a result allowed TJ McConnell to go off for the like 10th consecutive game. Enough of letting this dogshit team and player go off.
Good thing is though we play these guys again in 2 days and I’m 100% sure we’ll win that game because it’s very rare losing b2b consecutive games to the same team.

I hate losing against this fucking team
If Dame shoots better than 3-16 this is an easy win. Sucks to lose this one after the last game against them, but ultimately this one doesn’t mean much.
That was incredibly frustrating. Mostly because of how they looked at the start of the game. Bucks were locked in, offense was flowing and even defense was beautiful. I was hyped and briefly believed this team would never lose again. That energy just evaporated and I don’t even know why.
I’m not down on the team. I still think they’re going to be the best offense they can be when the playoffs come. It’s just frustrating, watching them drop games like this due to low energy.
I cannot believe we have to see this team again in two days.
Dames worst game. Gonna chalk it up to being wasted honestly. He was moving like shit from tip off and was out of rhythm the entire night. On a more worrying note, I have yet to see him this season move with any of the crispness and fluidity he did last year.
Edit: It is absolutely possible that athletically and endurance wise, this is a somewhat diminished dame. He is 33. Will he still have absurd stretches where he’s feeling great that are vintage dame? Absolutely, but he’s finishing worse at the rim, beating less guys off the dribble, not shooting from as far out as he’s known to do, etc…

Also, this is why Beasley cannot start. Yes he’s a heater, but when push comes to shove, he gets abused by *tj McConnell*. He’s not a good POA defender and never will be, and we need 1 of those in the starting lineup.

Dame played really, really badly tonight, but here’s a more interesting story:
Three Pacers bench players outscored the entirety of the Bucks bench tonight.
Bench and Dame sold this game. All there really it to it. I always forget we still don’t have Jae but we really need that guy back to absorb some of these bench minutes. Still probably should make a move at the deadline for a rebounding energy guy. On to the next.

I will never understand when coaches are so dead set on keeping their normal rotations when shit starts to go bad. The game took a turn when we were up 13 with like 5 min to go in the 3rd and then Griffon sat Giannis and they cut it to 2 within like 4 min… like for fcks sake. Why not put Giannis right back in the game after they go on a little run? Why be so dead set on keeping the normal rotation. I don’t get it.
Letting Haliburton just waltz into the paint to score a floater to ice the game and waiting until after he has shot it to step up to him and by doing so foul him for an and 1, that gave me deep pain

Any chance we had at the comeback was ruined when Dame got caught talkin to the bench, Haliburton turns it into a 3 point play. That sticks out amongst his trash performance. Bobby coulda hit a couple more shots. Can’t expect them shooting that terribly from 3 more than twice a year.

Khris Middleton missed two shots the whole game and he misses one in the fourth and people comment in the game thread that he’s a “trash” shooter
Pacers are annoying but they’re not going anywhere and can score. We’ve got to match by making sure we get up our shots. Once again, the amount of second chance points we gave up killed us. Can’t get out hustled there.
I don’t actually know but recently single Dame might still be enjoying some nightlife. The game he had in Vegas and this one on New Year’s Day were pretty damn flat. Well, he gets a chance to bounce back and help us get some redemption on Wednesday.

Bad night from Dame and a rough night from the bench… even then it was still winnable in the last 2 minutes. We’re still one of the best teams in the league and rode a 16 game home win streak.

Some ppl here are insufferable as soon as someone has a bad night. Dame plays fine and well most nights, it’s completely normal for people to not do as well occasionally. Sucks having to suffer the consequences of said nights, but calling the trade a disaster is such a dumb thing to say.
Admittedly our bench is not in the best form and def needs improvements one way or another.
I’m wise enough to know it won’t happen but jfc AG needs to figure out how to run the offense through Damian Lillard
Our bench is particularly dismal. I think we have a large enough sample size of games to know that our starters are amazing (even if Dame shoots like shit) and our bench are professional point shavers. I don’t think Crowder solves everything
our bench absolutely sucked even with dame having the worst game of the season, just a really bad offensive game with our bad transition defense. They figured us out after the 1st quarter it seemed too
If they shoot even 25% from 3 then this is a blowout. We looked bad. We need Horst to work some magic with our bench, because they’re almost unplayable. Bobby is a huge liability unless he’s shooting like 70% and Pat’s defense has been unspeakably bad.

Dame is not the best PG on the court against the Pacers. But tonight he was not even the second best PG on the court. That is embarrassing. Bucks team is stacked they will be fine all regular season since its impossible for good teams to miss the playoffs in the NBA.
But come playoffs the Bucks are going to have a epic meltdown. I can think of how horrible the playoffs can go and I am sure the Bucks will top whatever I am thinking.
