  1. The bulls have always had trouble with teams with good centers. They had problems with Patrick Ewing so you know that no one on their team could handle dream.

  2. Jordan would have 1 L in the finals if the bulls met this man. what if this the real reason MJ retired he didnt wana face hakeem's maturation 😅😅

  3. Really got to appreciate The Dream during the years that MJ stepped away from the game..
Not saying that jordan being in the league made him less of a player but MJ cast such a huge shadow..
The Dreams game was so smooth..
    Beautiful….

  4. Olajuwon couldn't have been more than 6'10 without shoes and 240pounds soaking wet. But his mobility at that size is ridiculous. He's playing like an old school guard at the Center position

  5. Everybody knows that MJ and the Bulls were way different in the Finals! So Houston and Hakkenn by allmeand would have be beaten as everybody else! Why in 1991, 1992, 1993, 1996, 1997 and 1998 the Houston Rockets and the Almigthty " Olajuwon never even reach the Finals?

  6. Thank you for highlighting how great Olajuwon was against these Bulls. This was Olajuwon's 11th win against Jordan's Bulls out of 16 games

  7. Although I firmly believe that the Chicago Bulls would've won 🏆 eight championships if Michael Jordan hadn't retired, I can honestly say that the Houston Rockets teams from around that time could've given them a run for their money and Hakeem Olajuwon was a huge reason for it.

  8. I loved those MJ Bulls, but if the Bulls stayed together and decided to get championship 7 and 8. Hakeem & company would have been very difficult to beat in the finals.

  9. Hakeem The Dream! He was The Dream player because he could do it all! Blocks, assists, rebounds, steals, score points. Statistically, the best all around player, and he lead his team to a championship!

  10. Kenny Smith says that those Rockets teams would’ve beaten the Bulls if they faced each other in the Finals because there was no answer for Dream.

I’m not saying the Rockets would’ve lost to the Bulls but 2 separate 3-Peats says a lot about those Bulls team’s ability to win with the talent or lack thereof they had on hand.

  11. Those were the days. The NBA was fantastic. Great athletes throughout the entire league. Today…… meh.

  12. The Bulls were obviously the better team overall as evidenced by the six championships, but Olajuwon and his Rockets were Michael Jordan's Bulls kryptonite when they played. I think you could make an argument towards The Dream being the best, most complete center of all time.

  13. Dude ok, so maybe this game, but there was always always the comparison of Hakeem and Pippen, and im sorry, Pippen always always got the better of Hakeem, Pip was just on another level im sorry

  14. Q: Why no 3peat tho if they, Hakeem and the Houston Rockets, were so good?
A: Coz the GOAT came back. 😂

  15. Hakeem was one of my favorites, hell all the legends from the 80s and 90s are my all time favorites. I can't say I ever hated any single player in those eras except for laimbeer lol. He was a talentless azzhole lol 😅 not even shaq was able to handle Hakeem, he was one of a kind!

  16. This is probably a perfect example of how the NBA is truly a game of match-ups. This Rockets team probably had one of the best chances of preventing that Bulls team from 3-peating. Not an absolute guarantee. But they couldn't get past the Supersonics that year. Seattle was a real tough match-up for those Rockets. At the very least that Rockets team could have been the only team to push the 93 Bulls to 7 games before loosing.
