Toronto Raptors Star Jonathan Mogbo CRUSHES NBA Trivia! 🔥
Just saw these
I’m a lifelong football (soccer) player and fan. When you see an electric player (e.g., a winger), he’s pulling out changes of direction, skills, or other beautiful team play and showcasing elite athleticism. Even other positions (midfielder, defence), their one touch passes and reading of the game or passes that unlock the defence (through balls), are just so tangible and a sight to behold.
Now, I’ve been an NBA fan since 2019 (I live in Australia and therefore wasn’t exposed to the game) because of the Raptors going to the finals and all my friends were following there playoff run.
I quickly became a huge fan because of the Last Dance documentary (which showcase Jordan’s acrobatic layups and clutch moments along with his history) and my favourite player is probably Lebron James (watched countless amounts of his highlights and followed the Lakers since 2021).
I’ve always been in awe of players like Lebron, Giannis and Curry because they just seem unstoppable (Lebron’s never ending bag, Giannis freak athleticism along with Bron, Curry’s 3s and conditioning)
I see Luka’s numbers and the Mavs games and I want to love him as a player, but I’m just so CONFUSED as to why this guys unstoppable offensively. Pound pound through the legs (all at what seems to be a slow pace) step back 3 or drive in for a midrange shot. Is it defending rules that stop players from just pouncing on this guy or making his life hell because it just looks like he’s not even trying and when he gets into that three point shot motion, no defender can reach him. I haven’t seen any crazy handles from him compared to someone like Kyrie either, I just don’t understand how he’s a superstar (well I do, his numbers are insane, but WHY?!?!?!!)
Can anyone who’s played or is a NBA super fan elaborate?
