  1. I’ve changed my expectations for this team for now, so this win makes me a lot happier.

Everyone played well for a night.

I feel so bad for GP2. That is just unbelievably cruel.

That last non review is just unbelievable

  2. shanks_you

I think we would have more wins if GP2 played more. It sucks because he has Steph’s level impact on the defensive end.

Now that he’s out, means Moody will get some playing time. But unlikely he will still be here post trade deadline, definitely one of the pieces when we trade for someone.

  3. GGAllinsMicroPenis

The NBA’s hate for Stephen Curry is absolutely un-fucking-acceptable.

  4. cosmicvitae

Might be JK’s most complete game of his career. Some of the passes he was making….phew

Also it might not be showing up on the stat sheet but this was a great game from Klay. Was everywhere on defense and had Paolo in jail all game

  5. combatron2k21

In honor of star wars night..These aren’t the free throw makes you are looking for.

  6. Itezguatitez

Warriors are a bit of a victim of their own identity and philosophy this season. How many offensive plays they work and work to get the ball to Klay, but it’s very predictable and 2024 Klay struggles to get any separation from his defender, so it ends in a chucked shot by Klay.

Or they can’t really get the pass to Klay, so the possesion is down and now it’s a panic. You’d think they’d look desperately for Steph, an all timer at creating a good shot in an instant, but defenders aren’t stupid and they overplay the shit out of Steph and rough him up.

This plays usually end with a turnover, or an open shot by one of many Warriors non shooters(Dray/JK/Gp2/Loon). Defenses will live with that every day.

Instead, how many times are they looking to create a missmatch for Kuminga/Wiggins in the post? Barely any. Even Steph P&R and iso match hunting diet can vary wildly from game to game.

The league is too big and switchable to play the same style as in 2015,but with older guys. Also, every team has been watched the dubs play that way for almost 10 years. They must know how to communicate and switch post splits like their name by now.

  7. Robotsaur

It’s so over ➡️ we are so back cycle continues

  8. Itezguatitez

I’m so sad for Gp2. He really can’t stay healthy. His style of play needs every bit of athleticism he has to be effective. It seems like his body can’t keep up and I’m not surprised, he plays every second at 110%.

That sustainable if you play mostly below the rim like Podz, but Gp2 be doing some wild shit from an athletic standpoint, and not just jumping.

  9. Used_Water_2468

Suggs is such a flopper. On both ends of the floor.

  10. Wooooo!!! Too close for my heart at times but they won! Steph being Steph! Heal up GPII 🙏

  11. cai_tao_kueh

Game would have been better if we had made 10 more free throws. Despite the shit free throw night, great game by JK, Podz, TJD, Wiggins, Klay and Curry getting his shooting back. If we could continue with the effort and hustle we could even win a playoff series or two. This was the second best Dubs game this season! (except the C’s) A win to start the new year!

  12. Kuminga 4 assists does not tell the full story, bro was finding open shooters all night.

Also… feel bad for GP2 man… bro’s body aint been the same since that amazing 2022 run…

  13. grapplebaby

Great things happen when Kuminga gets 30+ minutes.

  14. lifterofrocks

Dubs missed some open looks from 3 tonight so hoping they can make them against the Nuggets on Thursday. The offense is looking fluid and defense finally got some stops. I actually liked the Wiggins and Kuminga minutes at times, but they’ve got to rebound for it to be optimal.

  15. thisisgandhi

Man, why can’t we work the OPJ 2022 magic on GP2

  16. jcu_80s_redux

Pulled away at the end. Next up…

    Nuggets Thursday.

    Wiseman Friday.

  17. BeetLover1111

Happy we won but very sad GP2 is injured again, that sucks so bad

Also, Klay barely played the first half and Moody was still out, I hope we can stop saying Klay is the reason Moody is not getting playing time

  18. livecents84

L2M report: Correct Non Call, incidental Hot stove contact on Curry’s face/neck area.

  19. thejeffphone

I never wanna hear anyone say Steph is washed ever fucking again. He is the most disrespected superstar in the league on MANY levels and he continues to prove himself

  20. SuperMagpies

Another game, another Moody DNP. As a Moody fan, that sucks big time 😮‍💨

  21. BloodyEagle15

If Kuminga can become just a little better at hitting his 3s, he would be amazing. As it is, I could already see making the argument that they should start considering him as their potential number 2 option on offense. Especially when the shots aren’t falling as a team, it makes too much sense to just feed him and let him drive to the basket to get something going and start opening up looks for others. Though for that to happen he needs to work on his consistency and his bbiq, but both have been improving tremendously since he became a starter.

  22. imminentjogger5

proud of Klay for the bounce back in the second half

  23. advanced510

Good to see Wiggins call for the ball again. He’s ramping back up for sure.

Hate to see GPII go down again…

Really need Dray to come back soon and hope he’s impactful rather than distracting.

  24. Not-The-AlQaeda

This game is a clear demonstration of how good the team is. We have the players, they’re just not coming together as a team as soon as we would have liked. You don’t get 26/31 clutch games with a shit team.

  25. hellahomebody

This is is how Klay needs to play even if he doesn’t scratch 20+ pts, having self control with shot selection, making the right pass, play defense, grab boards. Great overall bounce back game. Also another game where CP3 coaching the young guys is evident. Instead of waiting on Dray to get his shit together I’d rather just move on and target guys to help on the defensive end. JK chemistry with Steph is something that just needs more reps and that’s not going to happen with Dray back. It’s obviously going to be one step back, but necessary to take those steps forward in these final years.

  26. Great gritty win by the team. Our defense was impressive.

Best kuminga game I’ve ever seen. Dude was making such an impact on all facets of the game.

And great bounce back games for Steph, Klay and loon.

  27. Creeping_behind_u

finally beat a young, gritty and hungry team with a winning record.

  28. Stomper8479

Kuminga has just 12 fouls over the last nine games while often guarding the other team’s primary ball handler.

Over the same period, he has 13 turnovers, but six game in one game.

Sounds like he’s doing exactly what Kerr asks by limiting fouls and turnovers (aside from the Miami game)
