Gordon Hayward said the ‘19 Cs were not aligned & focused on winning. On Tuesday, Jayson Tatum acknowledged that Hayward was right. “I mean, yeah, that shit was terrible…we were a very talented team but it just didn’t mesh the way we wanted it to.”

Tatum said there were no locker room issues. The players liked each other and got along. But he acknowledged that on-court chemistry was a problem.

It wasn’t the ONLY issue, but the biggest problem by far with the 2019 team is that their max contract, highest-paid player was complete garbage. In the postseason **he played 30 MPG and put up 9/4/2 on mediocre efficiency and bad defense.** He was taking minutes and shots from better, developing players. No team in the NBA can contend for a title if their highest-paid player is that bad. Kyrie could’ve played the best basketball of his life and that team still would’ve come up short with how bad Hayward is.

Dude kinda glossed over all that in his interview though.
