Did we just flock around and beat the 1 seed?

  2. Briguy_fieri

The New Orleans pelicans are 1-0 when /u/briguy_fieri ‘s work gets chick Fil a catered for lunch

  3. GatorEggs-

We are guaranteed the 5 seed until the kings game is over

  4. The score doesn’t fully show how well we played. That was beautiful. We had control of the whole game and didn’t let it slip. Whenever they tried to go on a run, we hit shots to put a stop to it. That was also against the 1st seed!

  5. Streaking at the right time. Zion and BI looking like stars and CJ playing perfect 3rd fiddle. Role players hitting shots too. 7 games over .500 feels great

  6. SaintsWing

Great team game, I feel like we are starting to play some of our best basketball.

  7. Sslagathor

We’re not trapped in the January Schedule, the January Schedule is trapped in with us.

  8. onlykindofamethaddic

Herb Jones with more children than Nick Cannon.

  9. ___DEADPOOL______

Ate mushroom tortellini for dinner again tonight. Gonna be eating a lot of pasta for the next few months

  10. SaintsPelicans1

Excellent way to begin a really tough schedule for the month

    Pick your poison, man:

    – Blowing out the 1 seed

    – Handing them their 2nd home loss of the season

    – Shooting 57% against the best defense in the league

    – Zion dismantling the twin tower frontcourt

    – Herb Jones 4/5 from 3

We are absolutely flocking tonight boys!!!

  12. rockmusic83

So we were just missing Larry. Got it. Flock on up

  13. AnotherStatsGuy

Holy mackerel. If you thought the Pelicans didn’t have another gear, you were wrong. Even without Trey, the return of Larry has been huge. Add in Herb hitting outside shots, and this team is a freight train.

You know the Pelicans are playing good when Joel
And AD are busting out the cooking metaphors for BI.

  14. GatorEggs-

I had a light dinner tonight with a small serving of chicken teriyaki fried rice made on our blackstone griddle. Might make some victory soup

  15. Mesame121489

7 games above .500 baby. Shout out to Willie he was solid tonight. Made adjustments and solid subs. This is what we wanted. Flock the fuck up.

  16. onlykindofamethaddic

Honestly I just wish Josh Hart were here to see this.

Usually I’m very indifferent on individual game wins. Normally it’s cause we beat a bad to mid team and sometimes even then we lose.

THIS win however is where the optimists are fully justified. To go on the road on the 2nd night of a back to back and beat the #1 seed in the west, and beat them convincingly, forget it was by 11 the game wasn’t that close when it mattered. Games like these are the ones where the pendulum swings imo.

    Kat is weird man

But that was a damn performance!

  19. Impressive-Theory-27

Can we please talk about how Bi has put so much effort into become a good defender, getting steals, blocking shots

  20. onlykindofamethaddic

Wolves coach just said they played “soft in the middle” against Zion. How the turn tables.

  21. P0w3rline24

“Herb sets the tone for the entire game” – Zion Williamson spitting facts in the postgame

  22. tulsuduke

Outscored by 10 in the fourth! Willie what is we doing /s

SCRATCHED A MILLION OF MY CHECKLIST THREE YEARS AGO

Zion answering Jen’s questions about himself: 😶

Zion answering questions about Herb: 🤩

  25. mitch3311

Zion is getting back into game shape and hustling more than I’ve ever seen!!! Sliding those puppies, making great reads…UH OH!!!!!!

I’m also going to say that I am wrong about Zion and BI’s fit. I believed in it for a really long time and gave up last month. These 2 are really figuring it out 👀👀.

Beautiful game and superstar effort from Z!!! The fit is looking better every game

  26. Wish I could figure out how to put the Gif of Kobe saying SOFT. Tired of hearing HEEEEEYYYYYY everytime the wolves drive to the basket.

  27. LabLeather8006

Please no more Fire Willie Green messages. He is good.

  28. asapshrank

pels now 1-0 when i wear my scottie barnes jersey. not really sure what to make of that, but i’ll take it

  29. Aggravating-Lake-717

They better put some respect on our heads

We just beat a number one seed, dominated them, playing a back to back, and this was on the road

  30. Need Trey back for Willie to stop playing the non shooters lineup with BI
