He could barely move. Lakers didn’t do him any favors, but he was not good w Lakers. We sure could use prime Marc now.

Feel the same about Brook Lopez
StoneColdAM
He was fine but he was being asked to replace a Javale McGee type traditional center. That’s why he struggled. Lakers have made some dumb roster moves. It’s odd that we won the 2020 ring by having the flexibility to go from big to small ball because of AD, but the front office has moved away from that since.

Every breath the players take is being watched by casual fans.

You maybe disrespected him, I didnt.
Irrichc
Lakers did him dirty. Didn’t even play him towards the end of the season and playoffs with the exception of garbage minutes. Played garbage hands drummond over him. Was rumored they were forcing him to retire so his salary would come off the block.
niknokseyer
Definitely under appreciated.

Disrespected? Nah. We just didn’t stay healthy. If AD didn’t get hurt then we’d probably repeat and he gets a ring, and maybe we run it back the next year.

for every highlight video we need a lowlight video

Who disrespected him? This sub or FO? I remember this sub being mostly reasonable about him
_Red_Mist_
The Big Penguin was fun. Very inconsistent but I will always remember that Nets game where he went off after Dennis and Kyrie got ejected
dash_44
Fuck Marc he was shit on the lakers and all he did was whine about his role and lack of playing time.
He’s a pretty selfish dude.
kasaan110
He also couldn’t guard a parked car and got beat every pick and roll.

This is 100% revisionist history LMAOOO everyone hated this dude when he was with us and were desperate for Drummond to hit the buyout market
I understand he got waaaay too much flack but my lord 99% of y’all are straight up lying

He was fine as a backup center. We just kept thinking he would be our only shot blocker on the floor at times. He’s good as a stretch big like Lopez but he’s nowhere near where he used to be a defensive juggernaut. He used to get burned so many times on the defensive end. He was good if you had AD in to cover the paint. He could provide spacing and get some rebounds. At least better than what we are getting from Hayes and Wood together.

Our best team if not for injuries. Yet we tore it all down for Westbrook lol
SedanoSucks
Yep. I found nothing wrong with him but bc he wasn’t Jokic the fanbase threw him in the trash it seemed like after a month
obliterateopio
Yup. Opened up the painted area because of his top of the key positioning. I wish AD was healthy that season. They’d compliment each other so well. Shrink the floor, and Gasol is going to hit shots from beyond the arc.

Dude was perfect. If only we got him younger.
