Should we be interested ?

  1. Y’all might not like it but a deal centered around WCJ and Buddy Hield might work. They definitely want one of our bigs.

  2. TiredMillennialDad

Yea. Would love buddy running with Cole on second unit.

  3. InterestingArm3750

It depends on who we give them back. Buddy is so streaky and he brings nothing m else to the table when his shot is off.

  4. Yes. Depends on the price but we need to be interested in any available shooters.

  5. GoApeShirt

I heard WCJ was almost traded for Hield over the Summer. Would love to see it happen.

  6. PivotdontTwist

Probably the only trade piece I’m interested in this year

  7. Plenty_Cable1458

No because i have issues with his mouth, he looks like a horse

  8. MagicInOrlando

I’ve been wanting Buddy Hield in a Magic uniform every since his sophomore year. Would love him here!

Just give a first for buddy. This team is one piece away from shattering the glass ceiling. Young core is good enough forget these projects. Let’s get some vets around our young studs. Time is now.

He would be AMAZING as a 6th man. I might be in the minority in that I would like to potentially keep Fultz, especially if we can pick up two guys that can stretch the floor reliably.

Even if we get rid of Fultz and get a PG that IS that second floor stretcher, I can’t see a world where Buddy doesn’t fit in with our roster. We are spooky deep. Having an elite 3 point shooter would do wonders for our squad at minimum cost. I like moves like this where we don’t need to leverage our future.

No, jesus, why does everyone want him. Hasn’t made the playoffs once in his career.

The one year he’s ab to do it, he gets put on the trade block, what does that say? lmfao.

  12. socalscribe

Depends what we’d need to give up, but I think he’d be too expensive to re-sign in the off-season

  13. This-Appointment-917

Would love this! Maybe get another shooter along with him as well. I think if JI is waived this month, the team would save $17.6 mil, is that right? If it is, huge bargaining chip. Gary’s contract is up too & I wouldn’t lose sleep if WCJ left either

  14. Buddy is weird since if he comes and wants to start then Suggs would have to shift to starting PG, and I’m not sure that is the best position for him to succeed in. But he is a true volume shooter, yeah he is streaky and when he has a bad shooting game he doesn’t offer anything else, but his averages speak for themselves. He is one of a few players that could single handily catapult Orlando’s 3 point attempts and percentages out of the bottom 5 in the league. He is also always available, something that is extremely needed within our roster.

I think him coming here will depend on him being okay with a bench role and of course the money he is looking to get as he enters FA. This FO and coach are not interested in one way players (besides Ingles for his leadership), so I wouldn’t put money on him coming here.

  15. He’s only shooting 38% from 3 this year. Slightly above league average.

Also people on this board begging us to give up resources for a first or second round exit are annoying as hell please stop. We don’t need that dude

  17. ComedianManefesto

Of course we’re interested, but other teams closer to contention will bid higher than we’re willing

  18. TheAnswerEK42

The pacers are gonna want to get better, not sure what we have for them unless we want to part with Mo Wagner or JI or something

  19. tofubeanz420

The guy is 31 gonna be a free agent. Our money is spent better elsewhere.

“Doesn’t fit our timeline” /s the only time this is true.
