Joe Mazzulla said Jayson Tatum can sometimes be overlooked in the wake of so many ‘shiny new toys.’ “When you get to the point where you’re as good as he is, people start to take you for granted. I think that’s the ultimate compliment.”

Joe’s post game pressers this year have been phenomenal. I always stick around for them.

  2. exactly Tatum been so good since he was 19 that it’s boring to people outside of the fanbase

It’s kind of the story of the Celtics.

They have the highest win percentage since 21-22.

The media never talks about them because they’re pretty boring. None of the players are out there getting suspended and they’re really not what’s hot or new. Nor are they a team with a history of success recently.

The Thunder beat us by 4 points and everyone wanted to call them the next favorites. The same thing happened with Minnesota and the Pacers. You beat the Celtics and all of a sudden you get immense media attention.

We’ll probably only have 2 all-stars, while teams that are significantly worse than us will also have 2 all-stars. I hope the Celtics can cook during this tough stretch, because if they do, it’ll get KP or White into the all-star game and that can really impact player confidence, team morale, and loyalty.

That’s the thing with Tatum. Tatum has been so goos for so long and has had so much success in the postseason except for a chip that people feel he is in his 30s and his window is closing. In reality he is 25 and hitting his prime at just the right time with the right team.

zone, but when he’s on, he’s unstoppable. His shooting skills are out of this world! Did you know that Tatum once scored 60 points in a high school game? Talk about a scoring machine! Keep up the great work, Jayson!

So frustrating cuz fans see the elite bigs taking up the MVP race and never see celtics coverage. People forget how much of a threat JT really is, and how young he still is. He has so many years of being any teams #1 ahead of him

  7. The worst part is that the new toys aren’t always shiny. SGA has been outperforming for years and it’s been ignored in favor of mid breakouts like Austin Reeves

The media is very Lakers biased. Remember the Tatum Kuzma comparisons

As much as we all loathe the Celtics, Tatum is legitimately awesome and seems like a good dude.

Tatum is my only NBA jersey because he is the role model of this team & the best to ever do it. Humble, a great dad, & just flat out wants to win. I hope to get it singed with multiple rings 1 day

Bro is really throwing shade on T-Hog smh.. We get it bud, Tatum is legit. His game isn’t as fun to watch as Jokic or Giannis so NBA fans kinda forget.. Buddy to make the finals this year and he’ll get his flowers.
