  1. A big time player gonna have to want to come here and I doubt that happens in free agency I think I'd you trade for one and let them play here and get comfortable that would be better

  2. They need to stabilize things before trying to overpay someone that might not work out or want to be here. Get some free veteran free agents that’s healthy and affordable and for multiple positions to help the bench and help mentor the younger players and take it from there because they need to fill 2 starting spots with either another center and move JD to power forward or a power forward and a consistent shooter

  3. I like Stewart and like the toughness and presence he brings to the team. My main complaint is that he doesn't shoot enough threes. Sure, you want him to take them when he's comfortable but he passes some up that I think he could get off before the defender closes.

Also, when he drives off of a closeout, bad things tend to happen. He needs to either side step into another 3, step into a long jumper or pass it.

  4. I don't understand why the Vets are playing so many minutes when they are loosing. It seems a waist to not be giving playing time to the young guys.

  5. Monty's love affair with vets and refusal to play and develop the young guys at this point in a lost season is either some ridiculous stubbornness or an intentional controlled demolition of team morale in order to get fired – but it sure isn't what he was hired and paid big money to do – which is to actually – "coach" – the freaking team and develop these young players.

  6. It's strange that people keep wanting Weaver fired and saying the team is poorly constructed. Well let's ask these questions? Are the draft picks, besides Killian bad? Cade, Ivey, Duren, Ausar, Sasser and Stewart. Is Bojan and Stewart not good rotational pieces? I say the team just lacks a few pieces. Weaver did say that this was the year to evaluate what we have and then go out and get the pieces the team needed. Yes he could have gotten some piece last summer. Team has 66 mil is salary cap money. That means 3 decent free agent. Tobias Harris, Siakam, Miles Bridges( get over it, he will play in the NBA), Buddy Heild, Kelly Oubre, heck even DeRozan , and Malik Monk. Players like those can transform this team. Plus we'll have a top five pick. That pick could be packaged and traded away to get a player like Markkanen. Now it's it going to happen just like that, maybe not but let's wait and see. I'll be grading Weaver based on what he does next summer. If we don't get players like that, yes I'll be on the fire Weaver bandwagon.
