I think he fits with this teams newfound identity but I personally am still unsure on who is the better starter between him and AB. For me I would say you keep the winning group (which they are doing) and experiment with Markelle off the bench and get him some minutes with the starters after staggering.
AB Suggs Franz Paolo Goga with Kelle Cole Joe/Caleb(situationally and if Joe needs rest) Moe/JI/Wendell (depending on what is needed and availability). It fits very well. Occasionally Mosley could even run a Kelle Gary Joe JI Wendell lineup to completely lock the other bench and still have scoring potential with Markelle and Joe leading the playmaking efforts and are great shooters (Kelle’s midi, Joe’s 3’s). Or they could go Markelle Cole Caleb/Joe Moe Wendell for an all out offensive strat (4 shooters with Kelle) with still decent defense.
Lots of flexibility with this team, but I thin the SL is locked and the bench can be flexible but consistent in some parts. Markelle should and hopefully will fit in with the bench and be the field general he is. It could be a well oiled machine and regain the best in bench status and once Joe comes back I truly think the bench can help make us a championship contending team.
